When I was 3 years old, my Mom and Dad were fighting so they split up. They didn't get divorced but they just were separated. So basically, they weren't living with each other anymore so my Dad stayed with his Mom and my Mom lived in her own house. My sister Ashley stayed at a friends house while Morgan and I would stay with my Grandma and my Dad for a week, then go back to my moms for a week. This would go on for about a year. I loved going over to my Grandmas house. She had an old house which was sizeable, and her yard didn't house much foliage. Her yard was covered in tall dead yellow grass and had about 6 tall Cyprus trees bordering the property. She had a calico cat named Callypatches who would always hiss, scratch and hide behind my Grandma's bedroom door. She ended up running away. So anyway, my cousin Jeffery stayed there for a while and another guy, honestly, who I don't remember was. Him and his daughter both. I think her name was Victoria or something. She was a few years older than me and one year older than my sister Morgan. We would sometimes build a tent out of sheets in one bare corner of the house by thumb-tacking sheets to the ceiling and draping them over chairs. We would move the TV under the tent and watch Bring It On with Morgan and my Dad. My Grandma would make us peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and we would eat them on my dads round stomach when he lays down and get crumbs on his shirt. Meaning, we would put the paper plate on his stomach and eat over the paper plate. Sometimes he would fart and blame it on my sister. In the mornings, we would watch Clifford the Big Red Dog and Curious George while eating breakfast in the living room. So when I was around 4 years old, my mom enrolled me in pre-school. I can't remember if I was happy or not to be going but I would guess so. I don't remember a lot of detail but I do remember that my class room was the closest when you walk in. There was a lady at the front, then right down a hall to her right was my class. The rooms were pretty big. There were two ladies in the room to teach. Basically, we would get there, put our backpacks in the cubbies assigned to us, and sat down on a red mat; which we slept on half way through. I remember the two ladies teaching us about how some objects float while others don't. They would sometimes use plastic dinosaurs and Hot Wheels. Other activities consist of making shapes out of popsicle sticks and counting cheeseballs. I'm guessing after this, we would eat lunch in the classroom where another two ladies would bring large metal tubs of food such as corn dogs and tater tots. Maybe after that, we would nap. Everyday, we would have to bring a blanket and a pillow. I brought a Finding Nemo blanket (which was way to big for me) and a small plush matching pillow which read you a story if you pushed a button on the side. A summary of the story of Finding Nemo. After we nap, we go to recess. I remember that we had to walk all the way down the hall and at the end would be the door to the outside. On the ground, they had black bark chips which hurt like crazy when you fell on them with an open knee. There was a small jungle gym that had swings, along with a tire swing which was hung low under the gym where we would hit our heads on. I always went to the tire swing. I don't really remember having any friends. I was one of those kids who just got their work done, did whatever just to get the day over with so I could go home. That was pretty much everyday.

Small fact, around this time I got stitches. At home one day, my mom was washing dishes and she put me in my walker/chair thing at the end of the counter. So she was rinsing a bowl and she turned to put do something with it and it slipped from her hands because it was wet and it landed on my forehead, leaving a scar on the left side of my hair line. Also,
another fun fact, my Dad bought a dog for my oldest sister Ashley. She was a mutt. I think she was half Golden Retriever, half something else. She was small and Ashley named her Princess. She lived with us for about 2 years...
