When I was 5, I started kindergarten but a little before this, my dad died. This is dumb but I still don't know exactly how he died. My Mom said he just got in a car accident but my Grandma said it was more than just that. I don't like talking about this so I never talk to my Mom about it or ask her questions. Let's leave it at that. Anyway, my two sisters, my mom, and I stayed in the same house my mom had been living in, then we moved into a different house. It was a two-story and it was very nice, lots of space. That was my favorite house we have ever lived in. Anyway, Me and my sister went to Alta Loma Elementary School, very close. Just south of the house. It was such a great school might I add. The campus was huge and so neat. I believe the school was K-8. My teachers name was Mrs. Esquer I think. She was nice. So around this time, I almost had friends but not really. I would talk to my classmates you know, but it wasn't like I was always around them. I remember two kids named Kyle and Haley. They were fun to talk to. So it was just an average sized classroom with a rainbow rug in front of the whiteboard to replace desks, and two round tables where we work with the teacher. One in the left corner of the room facing the front and one in the center of the back of the room. She would teach us things such as how to write letters, how to sing the alphabet and other English things mainly. So at one point in the school year, nearing the end, she asked us what we want our occupation to be. Being the animal lover that I am, I said veterinarian. I guess that confused her a little bit because I remember very faintly that I was explaining to her what I meant by that. Instead she just wrote down doctor. She was asking these questions because we would be soon graduating kindergarten going into First Grade. Almost as an assembly, we had to perform a few songs before we could receive our certificates. We performed about three or four songs which included little hand gestures that went with the song. We sang The Wheels on the Bus - classic, and a song about the metamorphosis phases of a caterpillar. Other songs I'm sure but can't remember. After this event my family met out side the school since they all went. Well, just my Mom, my Aunt Elizabeth who we just call Aunt Liz and my Uncle Alan who are on my dads side of the family. Also my other uncle, Uncle Chris who is my Moms brother. He's gay by the way. My Uncle Chris bought me a big spongebob ball which has a handle on the top, which let's you sit on it and bounce while you hold the handle. Looked big to me then, but its only about two feet tall and two feet wide. That was about my whole school year, just basic stuff.
Fun fact, during my young ages, apparently one day, I was sitting on my aunts kitchen counter and I was looking at a cook book. (My grandma told me this) So then, I began to read it. At this time I hadn't learned the alphabet yet I was reading. They were shocked at this. Isn't that Important but I thought I'd share that.
