From Littleton, Colorado, Ashtyn Rose had become great friends with the children that lived right next door to her and her family. Being the same age as the only girl in the family, Rydel, Ashtyn and Rydel became best friends almost instantly. As they grew up they kept hanging out, even though the Lynchs were homeschooled and she wasn't. Although when Riker wanted to go and become an actor, Ashtyn said goodbye to her childhood friends, or so she thought. She still talked to Rydel all the time and she even hung out with Rydel by themselves when they came back for a visit.
Four years have past, and Ashtyn surely doesn't look the same. She pulled an ugly duckling to swan move and moved to California. She went to visit Rydel and her family, only to find the one guy she was sure she'd never see as more than a brother may possibly be the guy she's been looking for her whole life. Will Ashtyn and Riker become more than friends? Will their relationship strain Ashtyn's relationship with Rydel? Will they make it through Riker's rising fame? Find out in Say You'll Stay.

Chapter One: Look at Us Now
Ashtyn's POV---
I can't believe I'm here. I'm finally in California. I couldn't believe I was finally going to get a chance to get my music heard, become an actress or a model, or really anything. Mostly, I wanted to see my best friend, Rydel, more than anything. Rydel and I have been friends since we were seriously babies. When she moved to California because her older brother Riker wanted to try to become an actor, she had no choice but to go with her family. I really wanted to go with them, because I couldn't stand living at home with my parents constantly fighting and then taking their anger out on me. So finally I just had enough and decided to move out to California myself. When I told Rydel of my plans to move to California, she was more than thrilled. She even said she'd pick me up in her car, Chubbs. I couldn't help but smile as I impatiently waited to get my bags from baggage claim. Once I had all my things I went and looked for my bright blond friend. Seeing her smile I smiled and ran to give her a hug.
"Ash! I missed you!" She yelled as she held me in a tight embrace.
"Delly! I missed you too!" I said back as we both began laughing. We then linked arms and talked as we walked back to her car and then the whole drive from LAX to her house.
"Well here we are. Casa de Lynch." She said with a laugh. "Mom said you're more than welcome to just stay here with us instead of getting a place all by yourself. We even opened space up for you in my bedroom and Mom and I share one bathroom so you don't have to worry about the boys messing it up too badly." We both laughed as we reminiced over when the kids all had to share one bathroom back in Colorado.
"That sounds like a wonderful plan. Not like my parents would care if I was staying here." I said as we grabbed our bags. "Is anyone else home?"
"No. Mom and Dad took the boys to get some things for the Loud tour. Speaking of, I really want you to come with us. Think about all the fun we could have after shows and before shows. You could be of help too with some things, like you can do my hair." she said as she smiled.
"Oh my god that would be amazing! I'd love to travel with you guys on the Loud Tour." I said as we giggled and got my things up to her room. We really just hung out in her room and unpacked my things so I got settled into my new home. Being with the Lynchs had always felt like home to me anyway so I felt more at home in the two hours I've been at their house than I had in 4 years. After a few hours, I heard Stormie come into the house with Mark and how they were talking about the boys being outside and playing basketball. Delly and I went downstairs so I could say hi to the two people that were like the parents I always dreamt of having.
