I wake up and repeat my usual morning routine. Showered, dressed myself in a black button up, dark jeans and a blue vest with red dress shoes, and brushed my teeth. I walk to my dresser and reach for my pills. Wait. Where are they? I left them right there! I know I did! I look in the drawers, at my desk and in my bathroom. No where. I can't go out with taking my pills. I know I'll stay inside, at least until I find them. But I can't. I promised Gideon and Paz I would talk with them about the books. I'm sure I'll be fine. I decide to leave. Mabel will probably be mad, but whatever.
"Have fun, brother." She doesn't sound mad.
"What'd you do?" I ask.
"Nothing. I'm finally coming to terms that you want to be the failure of the family."
"Whatever." I say continuing on to the shack.

I sit with Paz waiting for Dipper to get here and talk to us about the journals and his theories on who wrote it.
"When do you think he'll get here, Gideon?" Paz asks me.
"I don't know. I'm not psychic like him." I say gesturing to the door. At the same time someone knocked on the door. "OPEN SESAME!" I yell at the door. Not magical at all. Paz runs to the door and opens it. Surely enough it was Dipper. Something seemed off though. I don't know what is and it's probably just my paranoia. I mean BEWARB is spelled in my arm still.
"Hey, Dippy Fresh." Paz says.
"Please don't call me that, will ya'll." He sounded folksier. "Ah mean, ah don't mean to be rude. Ah just don't like that nickname." [Ah is equal to I] "Ah mean, it's just not me."
"Dipper, are you okay. You sound more country and folksier."
"What do ya' mean? Ah always sounded like this."
"Whatever." I interrupt. "Let's get to the book." I say holding up the journal. Dipper stood in awe, which is strange because he's seen it before. He walks in asking me questions I've already answered, (and his folksy accent dropped) like where I found it or if I've seen anything from it in real life.
"Before we get to the journal," he grinned "why don't we play a game?" Paz and I looked at each other.
"Uh, I guess." Paz replied. "What game?"
"Hide and seek." He simply said. I tuck the journal in my vest. "I mean we're kids why not have fun before we get old. I'll be it first." He turns around and starts counting. Paz shushes me for no reason and ran upstairs. I run into the museum and hide among the mirror maze Bud put up.

After I hear them leave I walk to their kitchen, grab a knife and let out a little chuckle. I walk around and look towards the gift shop. Then to the museum. What idiot puts up a mirror maze? But, I see the reflection of a pale leg.
"Oh, Gideon." I call while navigating the maze. "Gideon, I wanna talk to you. It's something I want to talk about with just you. Mano et Mano." I hide the knife behind my back and walk towards him. I reach behind a set of mirrors and grab his collar. "IT'S JOHNNY!" I yell. As he screeched, I laughed and put the knife to his neck.
"Dipper, what are you doing?" He asked in a panic.
"The name's Jonathan." I laughed more. "And you have something I want." He whispered. "What was that?"
"T-the journal. You w-want the journal."
"How smart." I said. "Hand it over."
"N-no." He replied. I pressed it closer to his neck.
"Repeat that, I couldn't hear you."
"No." I start to slice. "Fine fine take it, I don't wanna die." I set him down and he does what I asked.
"Good boy." I say patting his head. I laugh once again and leave the house. Finally. I have a journal of my own. Mabel and I can take over the town with... "BOOK NUMBER 3!" I yell, causing people to stop and stare at me.
"Go back to what you were doing." I say. I walk back to my house. My "sister" happily welcomes me in.
"Did you get it?" She asks.
"I did. But, it isn't the first journal."
"What!" She yells.
"I had the same reaction." I say with a sneer.
"Where on earth is the first one then?!"
"Please refrain from yelling." She glares at me.
"Dipper. I am the boss of you. I am older. I am smarter. I am stronger. I am the alpha twin. Don't. Get. In. My--" she started pushing me back until I grabbed her arm and kicked her in side the house. I walk in, closing the door behind me.
"That may have been. But Dipper isn't here anymore. It's just Jonathan." I start explaining to her, making her stumble back onto a wall. I pull out the knife from my belt and press it to her neck. I could do this all day. "And now I'm the Alpha Twin. I'm stronger and smarter and much more hostile. I'm more willing to kill. So stay out of my way." I laugh "I could kill you right here right now."
"Do it then." She said. I honestly am amen back by this.
"But I'm not going to. I can use you. Will!" I yell letting her go. She rubs her neck and starts coughing. The little blue demon appears. "I need something that'll keep my sister...in line."
"I think I-I know what you want." He says then disappears.
"Perfect." I turn around. "And before I forget," I say ripping the amulet headband out of her hair. I throw it on the ground and step on it, smashing it to bits.
"NO!" She screams falling to the ground trying to reassemble the pieces. Hmm. So that was all it took to break her? Breaking a stupid amulet? "You, are pathetic."
Will reappears. "Uh, Jonathan, sir." He says "I-I have the object you need."
"Keep talking." I say.
"I-it's a relic from ancient Egypt. It was specially made by a set of sibling trying to control each other. It forces the wearer to obey their siblings every command. But-"
"Whatever, give it to me and leave." I say snatching the artifact from his hand. He leaves once again. "Now I am in command. Let's see how you like it being bossed around." I say adjusting the relic around her neck. I take the journals and head up to my room. There is one thing missing. My bolo tie. Once my tie was fitted properly around my neck, I start studying the journals. The only problem is there is one missing. What is the one place that Mabel hasn't looked for the book. Think John. Think. Eureka. I laugh maniacally. Why didn't I think of this before. It's in that stupid shack.
