Plot: Seishu Handa, a calligrapher, gets sent to a secluded village called Goto island, after punching an elderly curator of a museum, who insulted his calligraphy. On Goto island his meets many people who are used to the country, and he learns from them: How to survive without a cellphone, how to light fireworks, and how to perfect his calligraphy.
Animation and Sound: Amazing openings and endings, and the sound and animation quality was beautiful. Animated by Satsuki Yoshino and Kinema Citrus.
Rating: I would totally rate this a 9.5 out of 10, because IT. WAS. SO. GOOD. But it wasn't perfect. Nothing is. BUT THIS WAS CLOSE! I won't spoil any more.
