Once they left the building, the life of the city swallowed them. It was broad daylight, and there were people everywhere, making their ways through their days in the bitterness of late winter. Kai made sure that Ria was holding tightly to his arm as they pushed their way through the crowd. Ever since the disappearances of Felix and Isolde, he had become more vigilant in the city. Boston was a beautiful city, but not the kindest of places. They made their way through the crowds and to the commuter rail. Kai found a seat for Ria on the tran and chose to stand next to her holding the bar. Ria wore her dark hair down today, it was curled at the ends loosely, short boots and a tight dress under her navy winter coat and it was still hard to miss the sparkling diamond on her left ring finger when she toyed with it awkwardly, an obvious sign to Kai that it made her uncomfortable to wear it. His gloves covered his own silver wedding ring. Ria looked up at him, and winked and smiled as the tran began moving along. The moment they walked out onto the streets was the moment their disguises must become convincing at all times. Anyone who wasn't in Kai or Ria's private circle thought that the building they worked in was a marketing agency called Rokin Marketing, where they created commercial advertisements for the city. The rail huffed to a stop at Rockport and Ria stood, gathering her things to head out. They exited the now less crowded tran and made their way to their boat on dock. The sun was shining, snow covered the ground and tree's everywhere, but there was a lightness in the air that made life seem simpler as Kai walked towards the dock, Ria at his side.

Ria cranked up the heat in the cabin as they took off into the water. "I wonder if this diamond is real..I am betting it is." she said as she tilted her hand from side to side. "This agency has never minded spending their money to be the most convincing out there."

Kai continued to look out at the water as he steered. "Dear Valeria, keep in mind there are burglars and just plain old geniuses out there who can look at a diamond from ten feet away and know if it's real or not." Ria gave him a look then, and sat down on one of the seats in the cabin, arms crossed for warmth.
