Two Boys

There once was two boys

Who met while chasing their dreams

Ending up dream chasers together

While falling in love

There once was two boys

Who showed their love for the other

And though they never spoke it

They'd become more than friends

There once was two boys

Who had fans that loved the couple

But their management got scared of the ones that wouldn't

And caged their feelings for the record sales

There once was two boys

Who whispered messages of love in public

Giving hints to the hopeful observants

And slipping under radar of the unwanting

There once was two boys

Who inked their love upon their arms

Showing the truth to the accepting

But keeping hidden from the afraid

There was once two boys

Who stole glances across the room

Not allowed to hold each other

Until the night was over

There was once two boys

Who stood on top of the world

And had everything they wanted

Accept for the chance to show their love
