Leopardpaw and Redclaw bounded through the forest. Then Redclaw stopped in a clearing, "let's start your training" he said. "First I will show you how to sneak up on your prey" and he slowly demonstrated. "Now you try" he murmured, Leopardpaw went into crouch and slowly crept along "PERFECT" exclaimed Redclaw " your going to be a great warrior one day!" "THANK YOU!" Said Leopardpaw.
Suddenly Leopardpaw went into crouch "I see a mouse" she whispered then she pounced "I CAUGHT IT!" She screamed "Well done" replied Redclaw "let's take it back to camp and add it too the fresh kill pile"
When they got back to camp Leopardpaw added her mouse to the fresh kill pile. In the meantime Dapplestar was staring around camp "these apprentices are doing well" she murmured to herself "I will have to pick who to come to the gathering soon". She was watching Leopardpaw play-fight with bluepaw and leafpaw.
Then she noticed petalwish and Mistpaw talking "now I will teach you about herbs" said petalwish
"the herbs you will need to heal wounds and stop bleeding are: burdock root, cobwebs and goldenrod"
"To heal infected wounds you can use: horsetail,chervil leaves and dried oak leaves.Also poppy seeds are used to ease pain but make sure not to feed them to kits!"
"Ok I think I have got that" replied Mistpaw.
Firespark,kinktail,iceheart and autumnfall were lying in by the fresh kill pile "wanna share a mouse?"kinktail asked autumnfall "no thanks"
"Anyone else?"
"Yes please" said iceheart
