Leopardpaw had decided to tell Redclaw about the gleaming red eyes she had seen.
When Redclaw came to get Leopardpaw ready for the next training
session, she asked: "can I talk to you in private please?"
"Ok come and talk to me and Dapplestar in her den" replied Redclaw
Leopardpaw dipped her head and followed Redclaw obediently.
When they got to the leaders den Redclaw called for Dapplestar she replied with mew so they entered.
Redclaw dipped his head and signalled at Leopardpaw to do the same, so he did.
"Hello" said Dapplestar "do you want to ask or tell me something?"
"Well Leopardpaw wanted to tell us something I think" replied Redclaw
"Yes I did" "it was about somethings I saw yesterday" murmured Leopardpaw
"Yes go on" encouraged Dapplestar
"I was playing with bluepaw and leafpaw then I went to sit and rest for a while I was sat over by the edge of camp and I saw a a pair of gleaming red eyes looking at out camp through the bushes" "I knew it wasn't any cat from our camp but I have no idea who it was do you think a cat from another clan crossed the border and was spying on us?"
"Maybe but that is very strange" "I will ask the rest of the clan if they have seen anything" Dapplestar said.
Redclaw dipped his head,
"That is all very strange" he thought aloud.
