Death was on the edge of the world. Like where he always was. Life would be there too.
On the edge of the world, you could see what was going on. And that was their job.
Life would have to see if a family should have another soul or if a lost soul should come back from the afterlife.
Death's job was to see if the elderly should live on or let the little ones die young. Letting the sick become survivors or become losers.
Life and Death decided your faith.
