This story is set a year after she meets Vera, now finally ready to tell her friends and family.

A girl by the name of Layla lives in Baghdad, Iraq. She is forced by her parents to follow Islam and follow her duties and culture as a Muslim, that is (one of them), getting married. She is secretly gay and non-religious, but keeps it a secret so she wouldn't receive a death penalty. When she turned 16, she met a boy online who was touched by her stories and decided to help her escape on her 21st birthday. Her story moves on as she decides and searches from reading religious books to hiring tutors, the right path in faith. Everything was going well in her new life.....until a tragedy happened between her and her savior.

This is a book containing my poems that I have written. It starts back when I was three years old, up until now and each time I write something new I'll be adding it as a new chapter to the book. It takes you through my love, my passions, my thoughts, and most of all my pain. Never feel like your alone in the world I write because I want people to know that they dont have to be alone and that there not the only ones. You know how in the Holy bible the first chapter of Genesis, verse one, it says, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Turns out they forgot one little thing. Life and Death. In this brief story, I will inform you about them. That way, whoever wrote the bible can add this in later. Before we begin though, you should know one thing. Death and Life are the best of best friends. You could even say they're like an old married couple. But they weren't always like that. You should have seen them fight. Man that was scary.
