After school, Dan went to tell his best friend, Ty about the news. Ty was nerdy and very embarrassing to be around, but Dan's only other friend was Mr. Verny, his math teacher. Although he was getting closer with him, Ty knew all of his secrets. Including the fact that he bikes, and no one knows that.
"I met the most beautiful girl today." Dan said.
"Jen? She's dating Gerry Wing," Ty said, but Dan had no idea how he knew this. Was he stalking him?
"whatever," Dan said with determination. Anger swept over him. "How did you know that I was talking to Jen?"
"I-I...." Ty said as his face turned red, "I was watching you. I love you, Dan. I want to be with you."
Dan knew that he was gay, but he never would have guessed that he fell in love with him. He had to leave him in order to have a chance with Jen.
"I have to leave. I can't be se-" Dan was interrupted by Ty's lips touching his. This couldn't be happening. Dan pushed him away and ran out of Ty's basement.
Tears were in his eyes as he ran home. He burst through the door and shaved his head bald. He washed off his eyeliner and deleted all of his music. He through all of his manga comic books into the fire place. He fell onto the ground and burst into tears.
He didn't mean to do that to Ty. He did have feelings for him, but he wanted Jen with all of his heart. The phone rang.
