Rowan's POV

"The 60's man. Influential musicians like Bob Dylan and Joan Baez playing guitars and singing like prophets. The time they we'e a-changin." Mr Matthews said.

"And the class." Farkle started.

"They are a-sleepin." Rachel finished and they smiled at each other.

"It's not your fault dad. It's the stuff your saying." Riley said tiredly.

"I'm talking about the 60's man." Mr Matthews said excitedly.

"Nobody cares about when you we're our age." Riley told her father.

"Riley,it was over fifty years ago. How old do you guys think I am?" He asked.

"There's no right answer to this sir." Lucas answered.

"You should teach us future class." Maya said.

"Now give us something we can use." I said.

"Listen dad your doing a good job up there and we're all very happy that your jazzed up....." Riley trailed off.

"But history has nothing to do with us." Me and Maya said in unison.

"I'm going to snap this chalk now." Mr Matthews told us.

"Uh-oh."

"Snap." He said breaking the chalk.

"What did you guys do yesterday?" He asked back to normal.

"I think I had grapes." Riley said happily.

"I had a banana." Rachel said with a smile.

"Do you know what yesterday was?" Mr Matthews asked.

"Grapes Day." Riley said at the same time Rachel said,"Bananas Day."

"It's history." He corrected.

"Every decision that you make. Every time you decide to turn left instead of right,you make history and effect someone else's." He said walking.

"And if you refuse to learn that,I can guarantee that you guys will not become the best person you can be." He continued.

"History is all about missed opportunities. History has nothing to do with us,wasn't that it Ms Mavis and Ms Hart?" He asked.

"We don't know,it was like five minutes ago." I answered.

"Fine. I am not going to teach you guys about the 60's." Mr Matthews said.

"Yay!" Everyone cheered.

"You are."

"Uhhh." We all groaned.

"Yay." Rachel and Farkle said flatly.

"History is alive even if you weren't,but now your gonna be. You will visit the 1960's and give a report." He explained.

"Time travel." Farkle said excitedly.

"How do we do that dad? We weren't there." Riley asked.

"You we're." He answered.

"How?" Riley asked.

"You all had grandparents or great grandparents. Choose one that was alive during that time,learn all that you can about them and report back." He answered.

"Then we'll see if history has nothing to do with us." He stated.

"Now I'm all jazzed up." He said.

"Uhhh." We all groaned.

"Yay." Rachel and Farkle repeated.
