Chapter 19

*Isabel's POV*

Since its spring break and basically everyone left campus is really empty. It's a ghost town I actually think there are only 20 of us on campus. Eight days have passes since break has started. There's only one day left that I don't have to see Harry or Allie. Everyday Perrie checks up on me. After the night I stayed with Niall I went back to staying in my room. It was better than hiding my feelings. I could cry at night and mask my pain during the day. I sometimes heard from Dani and Liam. Last i heard they broke up but they were still friends. They would check up on me being more father and mother like. Niall kept me busy everyday. Each day the tears at night seem to slowly stop and the smile each day seemed to come easily. Niall hung out with me everyday he kept my mind away from thoughts about Harry and all my other problems. Niall was literally like my healer. When I started to get sad he would make me laughs by doing something stupid or silly.

Now we're in the studio working on a song together. "So what do you want the song to be about Bel?" Niall asked looking up from the piano to look at me. "Hm I wanna write about my pain." I looked up at him. "Bel do you think that's a good idea?" I nodded going to sit next to him, "yea it'll help me finally let go." I smiled slightly. He nodded, "okay if it will help you get over him then let's write about your pain!" He ran his hands over his face. "How do you want the song to sound?"

I thought for a second looking into space, "I want it to describe my pain. How hurt I am because of this breakup." He nodded, "okay tell me how you feel then we can figure out where to go from there." He said swinging one of his legs over the piano bench facing me. I nodded and turned to face him. "I feel wrecked. Like he broke down my walls that I built. But apart from him hurting me I still love him." I sighed looking down at my hands "I feel like he just left me there not caring." I looked up at Niall blinking my tears away. "So in a way he's my wrecking ball," I sighed (a/n: I know Miley wrote this song but for the story pretend it was Niall & Isabel!)

Niall nodded, "okay so how about, we clawed, we chained our hearts in vain. We jumped never asked why. We kissed, I feel under your spell a love no one could deny." He said writing the words in the notebook we had. I nodded, "that's good! Okay how about for the chorus, 'don't you ever say I just walked away I will always want you. I will always want you. I can't live a lie, running from my life I will always want you. I came in like a wrecking ball I never hit so hard in love all I wanted was to break your walls. All you ever did was wreck me.'" Niall nodded writing down my words. We sat thinking about the rest him writing down the words I was coming up with. "Oh and for the bridge, 'I never meant to start a war I just wanted wanted you to let me in. And instead of using force I should've let you win. I never meant to start a war I just wanted you to let me in I guess I should've let you win." I sung playing the piano with it. "Yea that's good," he said writing down my words again. "Okay we have everything. Lets just work on the music." I nodded and we got to work. We sung through the whole song and when we were finished we heard clapping behind us.

We jumped and turned around to see Mr. Clyde, "Isabel, Niall you have to perform that at the welcome back assembly tomorrow!" "Uh Mr. Clyde I don't kn-" "I won't take no for an answer and it can count as your final." Mr. Clyde said cutting me off. I looked at Niall who nodded, "okay we'll do it." I sighed "good ill see you tomorrow at 2 be ready to take the stage at 2:30!" He said pointing at us. We nodded as he smiled and turned to walk away. I watched him disappear then sighed, "oh no I can't do this! I just wanted to write it to get my feelings out there not to perform it!" I stood up pacing back and forth. Niall got up and forced me to stop walking, "Isabel you can do this! I'll be there with you don't worry." I looked up at him and nodded. "Okay. Your right I can do this." I smiled a little. "Thanks Ni. I'm gonna go rest I'll see you tomorrow." I hugged him then grabbed my phone going to walk out the door. "Bye Bel!" He called after me.
