Chapter 20

I looked into Harry's eyes for a split second before turning to Niall and wiping my face smiling. We bowed then ran backstage. "Isabel and Niall you guys always seem to wow me! Great job both of you," Mr. Clyde congratulated us before letting us go for the night to enjoy the assembly. I wiped my face and looked into the screen of my phone to fix my makeup, "Hey Bel you okay?" I heard Niall ask from behind me. I turned to face him smiling and nodded, "For once I can actually say yes I'm okay. That really did help me!" Niall smiled at me then squeezed me into a hug, "That's really great to hear Bel. Now lets go find the rest of the group I bet they'll bite our heads off because we didn't tell them." He laughed pulling away from me. 

I nodded and grabbed his wrist pulling him toward the audiance. Everyone seemed to be out of their seats and talking to their friends talking about what happened over spring break. A couple of kids who were nearby stopped me and Niall telling us we did a really good job. We thanked them and continued to look for our friends. Once spotted I smiled and started walking toward them only to notice Harry was standing there with Allie. I stopped in my tracks causing Niall to bump into me, "Bel whats- oh we don't have to go over there i can just text Li-" "No it's okay I got this under control I can face him." I smiled at Niall. "And if i can't handle it I have you to pull me away right?" I looked up at him as he nodded. "Yea okay. I'll be right behind you." He smiled down at me as I turned to walk over to the group again. 

"Hey guys!" Niall said once we got close enough to everyone. "Hey you two!" Perrie said looking at me. "How come you guys didn't mention this to us?" "Surprise?" I said as it came out more as a question then a statement. Everyone laughed, "Bel and I didn't want to tell anyone we actually did want it to be a surprise." Niall said saving me. "So wait did you two write that yourselves?" Eleanor asked looking from me to Niall. I nodded while Niall answered, "Well Isabel came up with most of it. I asked her what she wanted to do and she said write a song about her pain," he shrugged. "That was amazing I could almost feel what you were feeling. This one over here was actually crying." Louis said pointing to Harry and for the first time since I've been with the group I noticed his presence along with Allie's. "Oh hey guys!" I smiled at both of them, "What did you think of the song?!" 

Everyone looked at me shocked and Harry opened then closed his mouth again. "I thought it was really good. I loved the emotional effect it gave," Allie answered quickly then looked at Harry. I smiled and nodded at her then turned to face Harry holding my smile. "What about you Harry? What did you think?" He cleared his throat before speaking, "I thought it was great. Now if you excuse me." He said turning and walked away. Allie looked after him then back at me. Everyone seemed to be looking at me as Allie turned to follow him, "Wait Allie, I'll go after him. I'm the reason he's like this." I sighed running my hands through my hair. "Bel are you sure?" Niall said looking at me. I nodded walking backwards, "I am. I have to make everything better again." I turned around walking in the direction Harry just disappeared. I looked everywhere before i decided to walk outside to look for Harry. I walked around outside looking for Harry stopping by the fountain when i spotted the curly head boy with his head in his hands sitting by the fountain. 

"Harry?" I asked once I was standing in front of him. He looked up at me shocked, "I-isabel?" I nodded sitting down next to him with some distance between us. I didn't know what to say to him I was completly speechless. I was sitting here with the guy who broke my heart after I sung a song about him. "Why are you here Is?" Harry asked breaking the silence. I shrugged, "I don't know I guess after seeing you walk away twice made me realize it's time to hear what you have to say." I looked up at him. "I know it will take time for me to forgive you but the least I could do after seeing you cry and Niall attacking you. Even though you deserved that last one." He chuckled at what I said and I have to admit I missed that sound. "Yea I guess I did deserve that." he sighed.
