I jump up onto the bed. He asks me questions about unprotected sex and I tell him about the few times my boyfriend and I have had sex without using a condom and we have an awkward conversation about the dangers of not using one.
"Have you both been tested for any sexually transmitted diseases?" He looks at me and I suddenly feel scared to answer.
"No sir." I sound like I'm being interrogated and they're about to find out wether or not I'm a murderer.
"Call me Harry. You need to be careful with unprotected sex. If one of you have a disease then it's easy for the other to catch it and some diseases are incurable." He speaks with such intensity.
"I know, I know it's not safe but..." He stops me before I finish my sentence.
"No excuses Yasmine! Naughty!" He laughs and the beautiful sound fills the room, I can't help but laugh myself.
"I'm kidding. I'm going to give you the injection now then you can head to the front desk where Sarah is and show here the prescription. She will give you the pills and you can be on your way. If you have any trouble adjusting to the medication overtime, make sure to call my office and schedule another appointment." He hands me a small cars with the name of the practise and two phone numbers.
"Thank you... Harry, I'll make sure he gets tested." I make a slight joke and he laughs.
Just ask I walk out the door, he stops me.
"Actually Yasmine, let me walk you to the front desk." His eyes pierce into my own dull brown eyes.
"Um... Sure, okay." Why would he want to walk me to the desk? He didn't walk anyone else to the desk so why me? Is there somethings he needs to tell Sarah? Maybe I'm just stressing out.
As we approach the front desk, Sarah seems surprised that... Harry is with me. He must not leave his office often when he is working.
"Dr. Styles! What are you doing down here?" Why is she so surprised?
"I came to walk Yasmine down. After the injection, some people can be quite reactant towards it. I had someone faint last week, remember?"
That's why he walked me down.
After getting my prescription, I walk out of the waiting room and head towards my car.
