I woke up with a jolt, confused at my surroundings.
A huge glass window overlooking the busy city below, a few photo frames of certificates, and lastly, a huge king sized bed with a black duvet covering the grey sheets. There was a husky that lay in a basket towards the end of the bed.
I was adorned in a long black tshirt that smelt faintly of coconut and strongly of cologne.
"Good morning Yasmine." I jumped at the British accent that came from the door frame.
"What? Harry? Wait, that's your name right? How did I get here?" My voice was dry and sounded like I had been smoking all my life.
"You were at the club last night, extremely drunk, you wouldn't tell me where you lived so I drove you here. To my place." His voice sounded like velvet.
"Did you undress me? Where is my dress?" I looked down at the black tshirt covering my body.
"Covered in grass, dirt and alcohol. I had no choice but to undress you." He walked towards the bed and sat down next to me.
"There's Advil next to you and orange juice. I assumed your head would be throbbing after last nights antics." He smiled sweetly and beautiful dimples indented his cheeks.
"Thank you, where's my phone?" I gulped down the juice and Advil.
"Here, we have the same phone so I charged it for you." He handed me my black iPhone 6 and I unlocked it.
I went into my contacts and dialled Jade immediately.
"What the fuck Yas?! It's so early! Why are you calling and where the fuck is your dumb ass?" She sounded hungover.
"Sorry! I just wanted to make sure you're okay! I heard you got kicked out of the club? And I'm with someone." I replied.
"We got too rowdy, as usual, Harry's friend dropped us off home, I'm assuming you're with Harry then?" I could sense the smirk on her face in her tone.
"Yes I'm with Harry. I'll be home soon, bye." I couldn't be bothered with her assumptions.
"Whatever. Bye bitch." I laughed at her and hung up.
"I was thinking we could go explore today. If you're up for it. I have nothing to do today, it's Sunday so my office is closed." I was about to say no but his captivating face stopped me and told me to say yes.
"Sure but may I ask a question?"
"Go for it." He said.
"Why is there grass on the bedside table? And why is my dress covered in grass?" I was so confused.
"Last night, you vomited on the grass and all of a sudden, the grass was just so alluring to you. You insisted on sleeping in the grass and made me pick some of it out before we left. You fell asleep with it in your hands but I managed to take it away from you." I could tell he was doing his best not to laugh at me.
I broke into fits of laughter. We both did.
"Really? What else did I do?" I was so interested on finding out what I did last night.
"Misha, my dog was sitting on his bed, you also insisted that he was snow and not a dog." The dog lifted his head up when Harry said his name.
"Come here girl!" He clicks his long fingers at her and with that, she jumps off the bed and onto Harry's.
"She's so beautiful. So soft." Soft. Grass. Laying in grass and my own vomit. Shit.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry Harry, I was a wreck last night, I drank way too much." I start apologising like crazy.
"It's okay, it made me feel better knowing you would be safe and not roaming around the streets while you were intoxicated." He said.
"Was I roaming around?" I felt so innocent and defenceless for some reason.
"You seemed lost, and the club was full with touchy middle aged men."
"Why do you even care?"
"Because I haven't been able to stop thinking about you since the day you came to my office, you've been on my mind 24/7." He said.
