Picture this

Three

     After I got home from school I listened to Shrek the musical soundtrack, and obviously sang along! Then I picked put an outfit.
     "Should I wear my flannel or my Disney shirt?" I call downstairs to mom.
     "Flannel" she calls back.
     "Shorts, pants, skirt, or leggings?" I call back.
     "Skirt or leggings" She responds. I grab my leggings and my flannel and put them on and grab a bite to eat. I have pretzels and then mom comes and tells me to grab my dance shoes and my bag then get in the car. I grab everything and sit in the passenger seat of my mom's car. She buckle's my sister  in her seat and gets behind the wheel to drive.
     "Want to listen to songs" she says as she turns the air conditioning on high.
     "Sure" I respond and take a sip of my water bottle. We listen to songs and in no time we are at the theater. I get out of the car and walk into the lobby. There are toms of people there. I suddenly feel really nervous. I go sit by the water fountain and look around at my "competition." 
     "Welcome everyone! We are glad to have you all here, you were the best people that auditioned yesterday! I know there is a lot of you here but this show has a lot of people in it. We will be starting with cold reads then make first cuts." I always hate those! "Then we will do some singing. Then after that we will make second cuts. The people who get cut at first and second cuts could still be in the show. After second cuts we will instruct the people who are left on what to do." the director explains then takes us all to the theater.
     "We will read from page 64 from the script, this is where Shrek and Fiona first meet" he says. This is the one I need to read! "I need Paige to read Fiona, Tyler to read Shrek and Noah to read donkey" he says as those people go on stage to read. They read them he calls the next group, "Marie read Fiona-" YES!!!!!!! "-Brandon read Shrek and Marcus read donkey." I walk on stage and turn to page 64. We read and the he tells us that we did a great job. I sit down and wait for everyone else to read. The next read was for some other scene with the fairytale creatures. I didn't read until the scene where donkey and Fiona are talking. I read for Fiona (obviously) and Tyler read for donkey. The scene went good other than Tyler forgot his line and there was a long moment of silence. This was going great. For the other scene I read for donkey but that wouldn't be such a bad role either, but I still really want Fiona!
