Four

     The director tells us to go into the lobby so he can discuss first cuts. I walk over your my mom and wait.
     "I read for Fiona twice and donkey once." I tell mom.
     "Nice" she says back as the director walks into the lobby.
     "Everyone let's gather around here" the director says as everyone gathers around the director.
     "Everyone but Kaylie, Sam, Myra, Marcus, Kyler, and Lisa stay" he says. Those people go home and I walk into the theater ready to sing.
     "Everyone will sing every song that I have here, other than the song for Fiona which the girls will song and the sing for Shrek which the boys will sing" he says and passes out the music for Story of my Life. I look over the lyrics and I'm ready to sing. We song Pinocchio's part together then we take turns singing it on stage. When its my turn I walk onstage and get ready to sing.
     "That's the story of my life-" I sing. I finish and he tells me good and I wait for the next song. I'm doing good! The next song is for Fiona, its my favorite, I Know Its Today!!!! I already know the lyrics so I volunteer to be first. He calls on me and I walk on stage.
     "You may sing now" he tells me.
     "Thanks" I say then start singing. When I finish the director is writing stuff form then he tells me to sit down. The next girls go and then they do the Shrek song. After that everyone songs freak flag and he tells us to wait in the hall.
     Second cuts... This is gonna be close.
     "I need Marie-" uh oh. "- Tyler, Marissa, Morgan, Noah, Steve, Nathan,  Autumn, Athena, Randy, Myra, and Charlie to stay-" YES!!!!!!! I'M SO CLOSE!!!!! "-everyone else you may go home, cast list, if you made it, is going to be out tomorrow night." 
     I walk into the theater and sit down. He walks in and tells us we will read and song some more, and that we were finalists for big roles. I told you I have a special talent! We get the script and he tells us the page number to read. Its a scene with Fiona and Shrek. I read for Fiona with Randy as Shrek. We did good, well I did amazing! I think I have a big chance at being Fiona! Next we sing I Think I Got You Beat, I was Fiona and Nathan was Shrek. He was a good singer. I think he will be Shrek. Next we all read for Donkey and we sing The Travel Song. I did good at that too.
     Then he told us that we he cast list will be posted tomorrow night. I go home super happy because I'm almost positive I will be Fiona!
