Chapter Eight: New school

Waking up to a steady beeping I just groaned and rolled over hiding my face in my pillow hoping to drown out the steady beep of my 6:30 alarm. Why you ask do I need to wake up this early considering school is about a ten minute drive if that. Well I’m a morning shower kind of person absolutely HATE showering at night I still feel all icky if I wake up and don’t shower. After about ten minutes I look at my clock and finally get up seeing as I’ve pushed it to the limit. Getting up and making my way to my shower I just get lost in the water and take my sweet time knowing I can dilly dally for as long as possible. Finally getting tired of getting all pruney I decide to get out and get ready seeing as I should try making a good first impression. It didn’t hurt that I would see Caiden today either not like that mattered... making my way to my closet I decide to go with some ripped denim skinny jeans and a purple sweater with a black tank top underneath all from my shopping trip. Deciding on some cute half heeled black boots that come halfway to my knee I go back to my bathroom to put on a little eyeliner and blowdry my hair. Happy with the results I dress and grab my bag and phone going downstairs to eat and make something for lunch.

Going downstairs I put my bag at the door and my keys on top of my bag just so I remembered they weren’t in my bag. I just wanted some cereal this morning I honestly couldn’t take the time to make anything I was too tired watching vampire diaries all weekend to catch up kinda drained me and made me super emotional and tired!! Getting my cereal and milk I sat down at the island and started to eat as my mom walked in looking all frazzled.

“honey have you seen my case work? I cant find it anywhere and I thought I left it in here!” I could see how desperate she was and knew it was in her bathroom thank god when I clean things I look before spraying stuff!

“yup look in your bathroom its in your top drawer I put it there to clean sorry.” She looked relieved and just completely took off for her bathroom, obviously she was late and in a hurry. After eating my breakfast I made a chicken ceasar wrap and grabbed a bag of chips and bottle of water and put them in my bag looking at the clock I realized I only had about 30 minutes till I would be late for school. So I made my way towards my bag and grabbed my keys and put my lunch in it and went out to the garage and got in my cold cold car. Taking off I made my way towards the only highschool in town, knowing this was my first day I would have to make a good first impression!

Pulling up in a parking space I noticed that Caiden and Krista were already here and standing with a group of people who were absolutely beautiful it’s as if these people were cut from the same slab of yumminess! Walking past them just wanting to find my classes seeing as I only had four this semester which in my opinion was weird and they were the same till the next semester! Just as I past them my arm was grabbed and arms were wrapped around my waist pulling me close. Freaking out a bit I looked up and saw a teasing smiling face looking down at me, seeing that it was Caiden I relaxed and smiled back totally unsure why he would make a claim to such a loser like myself!!

And just as suddenly as his arms where around me they were suddenly taken away and some high pitched wine erupted in the air and both Caiden and I looked over to see that some blonde bimbo had grabbed his hand and was dragging him to her. This had me seriously pissed and I wasn’t even dating the guy for like longer than a few days! She was obviously important to him seeing as he allowed her to drag him away and he didn’t even have the balls to look back at me or anything. Not caring what he had to say I simply walked away and went to find my class, I just didn’t think I could handle seeing them do the kissy face thing and sit there watching it. Finally finding my class I walked in and took the empty seat at the back that had a seat next to it empty as well hoping this class wasn’t a full one and no one sat next to me I started to think. Caiden had told me I was his mate soul mate or whatever and then he goes and allows some other girl to hold him and touch him? Like was it just all a sick joke make the new girl think she’s landed the like most gorgeous guys here and then take it all away? I mean I didn’t quite doubt he was a vampire because let’s face it I woke up with marks and he’s just too damn hot to not be supernatural!
