Chapter 8 : Trouble

Jessica POV

We sit in awkward silence the whole car ride to the Make A Wish venue.

When Stephanie told me that I got to company one of his superstars I never expect it would be him. I wonder what had I done to this universe to put me in this situation. All I wanna do is run away from him. But all that I've done keep lead me back to him.

As we arrive to the venue, the security lead us to a waiting room.

"The kid and his family will be here soon. And when they arrive we will call you guys back!" The man inform us before leaving us both alone.

As he closed the door silence once again rule the room. I really hope they not leave us alone. I should bring Elle with me today. So many thought run thru my mind that I didn't even realize he seat beside me until he clear his throat.

"So... where's your boyfriend?" He asked out of no where causing me to startled.

"What?" I look at him.

"Your boyfriend. The guy with you at the coffee shop!" He raised his eyebrows.

I look at him and scrunch my nose.

"He's not my boyfriend!" I stated.

"His not?" His eyes wide open looking at me.

"Ew! No! He's one of my bodyguard. Beside he have a girlfriend and he is like a brother to me!"

Suddenly I saw a smile appear at his mouth. He seems somewhat happy than earlier.

"Why did you asked?" I asked him causing his expression back to the way it used to.

"Nah! Just asking. I thought he was your man!" He shrugs.

"What if he is my real boyfriend?" I tilted my head to him.

"Nah! Your not!" He answered simply.

"I said what if?" I repeat again.

He look at me seriously and sigh.

As he was about to answer my question the door flung open and the guy earlier call us to go with him because the family had arrive.

Mom storm off first leaving me behind. That's awkward!

As we meet the little boy Andy he was so happy. He also bring two of his twin sister Layla and Kayla along with his parents. We spend about an hour with them talking about stuff. Most of the time he was sitting at Jon lap. By the look in his eyes, that boy really admire this man so much. And the way he treat the boy is so cute. I never saw this side of him before. All I know about him was just a high school famous kid and a cold hearted bullier. But seeing him like this right now made me questioning my self. Is he really change for good or he just pretending to be good just because of his work told him too.

As we done the family left and so do I and Jon. We walk to the parking lot together as the security walk in front of us.

"That was cute what you did just now I admitted!" I smile looking at him.

"I've told you I've change. I'm no longer the Jonathan you used to know Jessica!" He smirk at me.

Gosh the way he said my name make me swallow my saliva. Damn you Jon!

"Yeah right!" I chuckle.

"Why does it hard for you to believe me? I've change for good!" He added.

"I know guy like you Jon! You might fool people around you. But I'm sorry because I'm not gonna be one of them!" I said to him.

Suddenly he push me into an empty room along the hallway causing me to startled at his action.

"Jon what are you doing?" I mad at him and he look at me with that sickening eyes. His eyes look like a predator that look at his prey. In this kind of situation, I think I'm in the position of being his prey.

He took a few step in front of me causing me to back away from him until my back hit the wall. He put both of his hand at the wall beside me.

Shit! I'm stuck with him.

"You know what sweetheart? At some point, you we're right! I'm not as good as everyone think I am. But if you think you know me better! You dead wrong!" His gaze never living mind and this position being so close to him make me feel uncomfortable. His face just inches away from me.

Gosh I really wish I could do or said something but my body get numb. I don't know what to do.

"Tsk...Tsk...Tsk... Do I make you scare?" He smirk.

"No!" I try to push him but he's to damn strong.

"What? You wanna get rid of me already?" He smirk again.

Gosh! I swear my heart beating faster than usual. What is he doing to me. I don't know how to feel. Am I scared or not? At some point I found this interesting. Gosh the way he smirk is such a turn on. This is too hard for me to handle.

"Let me go Jon!" I growl.

"No until I get what I want!" His signature smirk appear again.

"What do you want?" I look at him straight in the eyes and his smirk still plastered on his face before he lean in closer to me.

As I realize what he about to do I close my eyes and turn my face away from him.

"Look at me!" His raspy voice demand but I hesitate to look at him.

"You know what?" He whisper in my ear. His breath touch my skin and send chill down my spine.

I don't know how longer can I control myself from jumping over to him. Gosh this is hard. I shouldn't felt this way to the man I despite the most. I regret kissing his drunk ass last night. He didn't remember a thing while I'm the one suffering because of that! Damn it!

"Your 'playing hard to get' game make me really interested!" He added.

"What do you mean? I ain't playing game with you!" I look at him curiously.

"Oh come on sweetheart! Don't denied it!" He sound bit mad.

"I wasn't denying thing Good!" I start to get mad.

"Ooh! Someone mad! That's hot!" He wink causing me to blush. Gosh Damn you Jon!

"Maybe this will make you remember it!" He said.

"Wha..."

His lips crash over to mine cutting my words. My eyes widened and my body getting numb.

He does remember that kiss!
