You happily entered the classroom whilst holding a cupcake. Tsuyoshi was silently sitting on his desk brimming with serenity. It was only him in the room and you.

"Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you," you approached him and pulled a seat in front of him.

Tsuyoshi stared at you with a pokerface, "Y/N it's not my birthday today,"

You giggled at him, "Yes, Tsuyoppon. I know that,"

You bought a cupcake and then planted a pocky in the middle in replacement of a candle since you couldn't find one. It made you really giddy to make a makeshift birthday cupcake and you couldn't help to sing the birthday song in front of Tsuyoshi.

The cupcake was elegant. At first glance in the pastry shop, you thought it would be really expensive to buy, turns out, it was just a simple home-baked cupcake. To describe that piece of sweet, it was blue and designed just like an ordinary cake. You didn't know what made it unique.

"Your birthday happened a long time ago and I met you after a while. So take this as a belated present," you showed the cupcake to him at eyelevel. He went cross-eyed to just see your 'belated present'.

"In all honesty, I think this is--" he stopped midsentence to suppress what he was going to say. Tsuyoshi hid his face with a hand. You can see him slightly sweating.

"Tsuyoppon?" You asked, slightly worried. You used your free hand to put the cupcake on his free hand.

He peeked from his hand and to witness he was holding your so called 'belated present', "Y/N, it's not like what you're thinking. I-it's just that-- it's really sweet of you,"

You were taken aback by his words, it was definitely a miracle to hear such compliment from this neutral kind of person. You smirked and patted his back which had him almost drop the cupcake.

"Ahahaha! Tsuyoppon, no need to be shy. I should be the one who's shy," You took the makeshift candle or pocky from the cupcake and licked the icing that came off with it.

"You're a glutton," Tsuyoshi said.
"Am not," You fired back.
"Whatever," Tsuyoshi dismissed it with a wave of his hand.

When you were about to finish the pocky, Tsuyoshi leaned to you and resulted into a kiss. Your mouth was left hanging, and your posture was of like a statue's.

"Well, I'm full," Tsuyoshi used his thumb to collect the remnants of the pocky and licked it after that.

As the reality struck you, you bolted upwards and an angry vein strucked your forehead, "what does this have to do with my cupcake!?"
