~One Week Later-
Things have been great with Luke. We've just been doing what we normally do and occasionally hanging out with Autumn, Ashton, Michael, and Calum. Autumn offered me a job at her family's bookstore so I should be starting that sometime next week. I'm currently looking for something to wear to the beach since that's what Luke and I decided we would do today. I put on my mint green bikini and slipped on some shorts and sandals. Next, I went into the bathroom and brushed my hair and teeth and then put my hair into a side fishtail braid. I took one last look in the mirror and then left my room and skipped down the stairs, hopping off the last step.
"Ready to go babe?" Luke asked, with two towels already in his hand.
"Yup. Do you wanna walk or drive?"
"Lets walk. It's nice out today." he replied, while patting my head.
I locked the door behind me and we set off for the beach. The walk to the beach is quick, only about 10 minutes,
less if you're skipping the entire way there like Luke. When we got there we scanned the beach for a spot. We found a pretty good one not too far away from the water but not too close either. We set our towels down and I began to take off my shorts and sandals.
"Want some sunscreen?" I asked, holding up the bottle.
"Sure"
He took off his shirt and I squirted some of the sunscreen in his hand so he could do his chest and stomach while I did his back.
"Did you get your face?" I asked.
"Can you do it for me?" he asked, giving me the puppy dog eyes and sticking his bottom lip out a little bit.
"Really Luke?"
All he did was nod and stick his lip out more. I sighed and squirted a bit of sunscreen in my hand. Before I could even get the sunscreen on his face he grabbed me and pulled me in for a kiss, I should've known he was going to do something like this. The kiss was perfect as always, I feel the fireworks every time. I pulled away and pecked his lips one more time and then kissed his cheeks and his nose before putting the sunscreen on him.
"There, now you're done. Can you get my back for me please?"
"Sure babe." he replied, poking my side and making me squirm away.
While he did my back I worked on my arms, stomach and face, waiting until he was done with my back so I could do my legs.
"Okay, now that we've got our sunscreen on, lets go play!" Luke exclaimed, throwing me over his shoulder and running towards the water.
- Two Hours Later-
We've been playing for awhile now, at the moment we're building a sandcastle. We were almost finished with I when it started raining.
"Crap, it's raining!" Luke exclaimed.
We rushed back to our spot on the beach to gather our towels and clothes (good thing we left our phones at home). Once everything was gathered we started running towards my house, it's pouring now.
"Wait!" Luke said, grabbing my arm and pulling me to a stop.
"What?" I asked, a bit confused. Did we leave something behind?
Luke stepped closer to me, our bodies almost completely touching now. He gently grabbed my face in between his hands. He leaned down, our noses touching now. He kissed the corner of my mouth and then my lips. The kiss was slow and gentle. It was perfect, like all of our other kisses. I pulled away, in need of air now. I looked up into his eyes and smiled.
"How was that?" he asked.
"Perfect."
