I looked at the time it was almost 6 o'clock. I finally founded an apartment, took me hours to find the right one. I decided to go with the apartment in Hollywood. Apartments near USC, were near bad neighborhoods. Considering that I'm a girl living alone. Hollywood and USC wasn't too far apart, probably 10, 15 minutes. I finally settled in my apartment, I decided to look around the place. I was lucky enough that the apartment for sale provided a bed. Of course, they had to. It was kind of pricy for this place, but good thing I had enough money that I've saved up. Also, good thing that USC gave me half the scholarship. So I still had enough money for some extra decoration and paint.

I thought before I used up all my money to get a job too. The apartment had 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room. Thank god. The light was actually pretty bright. I was glad that it wasn't as creepy as those apartment where there was a murder and, oh my god I shouldn't be talking or thinking about this at night all alone. I checked the refrigerator to see if there was any food., guess what? There wasn't any. I was starving, considering the fact that I haven't eaten breakfast or lunch.

I realized that I had boxes in my car still. I decided to go down stairs to get the boxes. There was a lot of people living here, it wasn't that quiet. Neighbors are practically walking in the halls and talking every few second. I smiled at some, and made my way to the elevator. I really hate elevators because they give me the creeps. I was always afraid that it would break down. As I made my way to the first floor, thank god, my car was parked right in front of the apartment. I grabbed 2 boxes and made my way to the elevator again. I was glad some random guy was in the elevator with me, I was again scared of elevators.

"Just moved here?" he asked trying to break the ice.

"Actually yes." I answered awkwardly, and gave him a smile.

"Well, I'm Logan. Nice to meet you." He smiled.

"I'm Amita, I would shake your hand but I'm busy." I teased.

The elevator went ding, and he said " Well, I'll see you around."

I smiled at him back, and followed him behind and went the opposite direction as he did. I got to admit that he was kind of cute. Wow, today I've met too many guys. I mean 2, 3, but that's still many. But the one that stands out the most to me was Tanner. There was something about him. After day dreaming and thinking about Tanner I accidently bumped into something. I said, "Oh my god I'm so sorr-" I stopped as I looked who I bumped into. It was Tanner.

"Tanner..? What, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Oh, I'm visiting a friend." He answered.

"Wow, small world." I gave him a fake smile.

"What? Do you live here?" He asked.

"Actually I just moved here, just getting some boxes to my room." I answered.

"No wonder the car parked seems so familiar." He smiled.

I laughed a bit.

"Do you need any help with these boxes?" He asked.
