I woke up to the sound and vibration of my phone on the coffee table. I realized that was sleeping on my stomach with my head facing the coffee table. I was extremely lazy to open my eyes tot pick it up, so i remained it close. I reached for my phone trying my best to find it with my eyes closed. I slided the screen on my phone to pick it up, who ever was calling me. "Hello?" I greeted with my bed voice. "Open the door." I heard a familiar voice through the line. "Its the middle of the night, I dont want to." I replied. "Amita, its 9 in the morning." Dianne replied. My eyes shoot opened. "WHat..?" I asked confused. I hung up the call with Dianne, and dragged my self to unlock the door. I opened the door, revealing an annoyed Dianne.

"You are one horrible friend." Dianne greeted. I stood there rubbing my eyes. "Well, good morning to you too." I replied making room for Dianne to walk in. "I had to literally break all my stuff up myself you prick." Dianne complained making herself over to the fridge. "I'm sorry, I was kind of in the middle of sleeping." I apologized still rubbing my eyes. Dianne turned back around facing me with a cold water bottle in hand, "Good thing Zach was nice enough to help me." "Okay, okay stop nagging. Lunch is on me then." I tried to ease her down a bit.

Dianne arched her eyebrows up, opening the water bottle while questioning me with her expression. "Ugh, fine dinner too and would you stop looking at me like that." I rolled my eyes heading over to the couch. I began folding the blanket and placed it over the pillow. "You got everything unpacked in your room?" I asked. "Yeah, this apartment thing was actually a great idea. The apartment is nice ans furnished, not to mention the price." Dianne commented.

Dianne came from a rich family, but unlike others she wasnt spoiled. Sure, her parents threw money at her and all, but she didnt use it as much. Mainly she would use it for food, and paying for gas. Seriously all she does back at home is once she has nothing to do, she goes to a Taco Bell drive thru almost everyday. This is no joke, sometimes she goes twice a day. I think the worker there is asking her, "The usual?" Then, she would simply nod and remembers everybody who works there. If its not Taco Bell, then its pizza.  I swear this girl is crazy. She eats so much, but that girl can't even gain a single pound. Dianne is perfect to me. She has her insecurities but, shes that type of person who looks pass them, and accepts it.

Unlike me, I couldn't do what she does. Just accept that fact that we're not perfect. It seems so easy on her. Everytime I would bring out my insecurities, she would scream at me telling me I was perfect. It was an awesome comforting, but I try to look pass them. After all, nobody's perfect, it only takes a few people who knows that you are perfect. But, you are perfect to them.  In this case, Dianne thinks I'm perfect. I think she's perfect.

I chuckled at her comment at the apartment. "Do you have any plans today?" Dianne asked taking a bit of an apple on the kitchen island. "I have to go to work at 1." I replied back to her carrying my pillow and blanket back to my room. "Woah, you got a job already? Its only been 2 days." Dianne asked. "Yeah, uhrm Tanner hooked me up with it." I explained leaving a smile on my face with the mention of his name.

Shit Amita. Get your bullshit together. You can't be thinking of him that way. You got a boyfrie-

'Who doesn't call or text you back' my inner conscious spoke to me. OMFG shut up inner me.

"Tanner huh?" Dianne spoke as if she was asking a question. "Yeah, I got the job at a smoothie shack down at the beach. Tanner works there as a lifeguard, his shack is near the smoothie shack where some of his friends work." I explained straightening out my bed, and turning off the fan that was left on since yesterday drying the paint on the wall. Dianne was leanng on the door frame with her arms crossed over her chest. She seems to be studying me, as if I was some type of science experiment. "What?" I said letting out a chuckled at the end. Dianne giggled and rolled her eyes, "Nothing much, just that this Tanner guy is something." Dianne replied. "Why? Is there something wrong about him?" I asked taking a sit on the edge of my bed with my hands folded between my legs. "Well," Dianne walked over to me sitting down next to me, "He does know you have a boyfriend right?"  I crooked my neck, "Yeah, of course." "Well, he decides to stick around even though you have a boyfriend. I mean, other guys would probably be gone by now." Dianne explained.
