Sometimes you just can't save someone from themselves. The human brain is either the most brilliant thing or the most deadliest thing. It varies, if you're an optimist a pessimists or please don't talk about life ist. Just kidding that one isn't real. Along the train ride Vanessa's thoughts were like these, she looked at the two other people on the train with her, very few people were selected for Bonum hero. "so..." the girl across from her said awkwardly, "maybe we should introduce ourselves." her quiet and friendly tone caught Vanessa off guard, she turned her head towards her, her ginger hair lacing beneath her shoulders. "I'm Kat," Vanessa forced a smile. "I'm Vanessa."
The boy sitting in the corner reading a book had raven black quaffed hair. He closed his book and looked up to meet their curious gazes. "I'm Asher." He looked out the window, "why do you guys think you were selected, well mostly this is for Kat, everyone knows why ness here got selected." Vanessa felt herself eager to pelt the boy with an insult but she refrained herself and only rolled her eyes. Kat shrugged, "I suppose I'm not someone who likes to be kept content but not someone who wants to destroy the world." Asher sighed, "same." He looked out the window the train was still speeding ahead.
"what was your twins name Ness." Vanessa looked up from her hands, she realized it would be best if she made some friends. "Well, I never really got to know her, it was weird she died like five minutes after her birth but my mom did name her." "She thought she might be the evil version ,of well me so she named her Valerie, but she died no one knows why." Asher dipped his head, "sorry to hear about that." Kat hoped to tear the silence and began to talk, "my evil twin well her name is Kathleen." Asher nodded, "and my twins name is Ashley, she is actually the good side of me they thought I was going to be bad, nope just heroic." He stifled a laugh and the train began to jolt to a stop.
The place the bonum heroes were to be sent was beautiful. It was a shady dark and cool area surrounded by tall pine trees. The cottages were cozy and each one, their were 6,had a different animal on it. The new recruits gazed at each other curiously and stood up when it came to a complete stop. "let's go Ness, Kat." Asher stood up and led then off. The crowd cheerd rapidly as all the members from ages 15- 28 crowded around them. There looked like more sorting to be done.
