Jade's POV
Oh. My. God. That is the most handsome man I've ever seen. His grey eyes just seemed to bore through me and a shiver ran through me. I glanced at him and still found him staring at me.
"Jade find the courage to talk to him". I muttered softly to myself. I mentally hit my head when I remembered I was not good with small talks.
" Hi may I know your name?" I heard a person ask me. I looked around and noticed the guy was sitting beside me.
"J..Jade" I answered while blushing profusely. I can't believe he's talking to me. I took a deep breath and asked him "what is your name?"
"I'm Mark"
Lucas' POV
Mark? Seriously? I mentally hit my head. I can't believe the first name that came out of my mouth was that of my best friend. Fuck what should I do now? I don't know how she would take it when I change the name so I left it at that.
"Jade, that's a beautiful name. Goes with your eyes." Gosh could I sound any dumber. I guess she liked it because she was still blushing.
"What's your major?" Jade asked. Uh-oh should I tell her I completed college four years ago?
"Uhhh film making". Film, Lucas, really?
" That's great. You totally have the body and looks for it".
Jade's POV
I can't believe I said that. The atmosphere and the alcohol must be getting to me.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean you are ugly". Uhh somebody shoot me now.
"It's fine Jade I don't mind". He grinned and a cute dimple appeared in his cheek. Thank God because I could have died of mortification.
" Can I buy you another drink?"
"Sure" she replied.
