I'm a what?!?!?!

Chapter 2

After the tree came to life, i completely freaked out. I couldn't understand how any of this was happening. I thought magic was only in fairy tales and imagination. The world I knew is falling apart. All that is running through my mind is how is this possible. I'm pulled out of my day dream by someone taking the duct tape off my mouth and untie me. I look to see who took it off only to see a muscular chest. I look up and my eyes meet these beautiful blue and green eyes. I've never seen eyes this color before. It looks like the ocean. He smiles at me and unties me. As soon as the rope is dropped my body falls to the ground. I push my self off the ground to stand up. I lean against the tree, trying to gain my bearings back. The man who came out of the tree walks up to me and asks,

"Are you okay now? If you are injured anywhere I can heal you."

I just stare at him in shock. This can't be real. I have to be dreaming or maybe I'm dead and this is my afterlife. I'm so confused!! All of a sudden I feel the air shift behind me. I jump in fear and twist around to see what is going on.

The wolf....? Or man I guess, puts on a pair of pants and walks over to me. Now I'm starting to tremble in fear or maybe anticipation of what is going to happen next. He finally stops in front of me and puts out his hand for me to grab. I look from his hand to his face repeatedly. I'm not sure if I should trust this stranger. I mean,he did save my life so he can't be that bad...right?

Eventually I grab his hand and try get get my bearings. He give me a heart stopping smile. I can't help but to swoon. Maybe it's from me hitting my head earlier. Next thing I know the world goes black. All I can think is mom and dad are Sooo going to kill me. I should have stayed to help unpack.
