I woke up a bit tired. I was still in my dress. I got up and changed my clothes. I have to pick up Maya for about an hour. I went downstairs and found Taylor, cleaning the house.
"Do you need any help?" I asked her and she nod. I took the trash bag and started putting many cups and garbage in. I noticed she was squinting her eyes. She must have a headache
"You have some aspirin on the table if your head hurts." I said
"Thanks." She said and drank it with water.
"Did you have fun last night?" She asked me
"You care if I had fun?" I asked curiously, confused why is she all of a sudden nice to me
"Look, sorry I acted like an asshole, Some things happened and I realised we should hang out more." She said
"What happened?" I asked curiously
"Oh, it doesn't matter." She brushed it off
"Okay..." I said not wanting to push anything
"Sorry I over reacted, after all I just want you to be okay " She said
"Oh, umm... thanks, I guess." I said still being confused. We continue to clean around the house. After that, I went to Maya's friends house to pick her up from her sleepover.
Her friend's mum opened the door.
"Hi, is Maya ready to go?" I asked her sounding more politely than I usually do
"Yes, she is here." She said and smiled, as Maya came to me.
"C'mon let's go." I said and held her little hand
"Thank you, bye." I said to her friend's mum and went home with Maya. She asked me a few things on the way home.
"What did you and Taylor do last night?" She asked me
"Um... we were in our rooms, doing our own thing. " I lied
"You threw a party didn't you?" She asked
"Yeah, but I didn't. Taylor did" I said
"How do you know anyway?" I asked her
"I heard some music last night, but didn't know was it from our house, and I've heard Taylor talking on the phone about it a few days ago" she said
"Oh...well you won't tell mum and dad right?" I asked
"I won't, don't worry." She said
"You're so fucking smart" I said shaking my head
"Don't swear." She warned me
"Fuck, sorry." I said and she looked at me again
"I'm sorry." I said and smiled
We got home and Taylor finished cleaning up the house.
"Mum and dad called, they should be home in the evening." She said and I nod

(later that day)
I went upstairs to get my phone. As I walked up the stairs I remembered last night how me and Simon danced,and how I could feel his warm body. I smile like an idiot, standing in the same spot we were standing.
"Such an idiot." I said and smiled
"Mummy!" I heard Maya yelling downstairs. I came downstairs and hugged my parents
"How was the trip?" I asked
"exhausting, but we managed." They said
"Who wants some pizza?" Dad yelled and picked up Maya as she laughed. I notice it's 5:15 p.m. and that Simon should be here soon for the project.

We ordered pizza and after about 20 mins it was here and we were having a dinner. I checked my phone every few minutes. It was 5:50 p.m.
"Is everything okay honey?" Mum asked me noticing I was checking my phone.
"Yeah, oh.shit I forgot to tell you." I said
"What?" Dad asked. Taylor looked at me.
"This guy, my classmate he's on his way here so we can do that history project." I said and Taylor just looked down.
"Oh, that's what they call it these days." Dad said and I chocked a bit on air , I noticed Taylor giggled
"No no no" I shook my head
"I know honey, dad is joking." Mum said laughing and I shook my head.
"Oh that is the boy..what was his name?" Mum wondered alongside with dad
"Sean?...no,is it Seth?" They wondered
"It's Simon." I said and sighed, as they giggled
"So, can we do the presentation upstairs or not?" I asked
"Yes honey, you can." They said. I heard a doorbell ring.
I check my phone. It's 5:59 p.m.
It's surely him.
