Chapter 8: More Than This

I can't believe it!

DANIELLE was really here!

"Liam!" Danielle exclaimed happily when she saw me.

I was frozen in place staring at her. I still just can't believe she's here right now! WHY is she here now? And isn't she mad at me for leaving without an explanation for my behaviour?

She ran over to me and hugged me. I slowly hugged her back, still in shock.

"Aren't you happy to see me?" she asked after pulling away to look at me.

"...Y- Yeah...I am..." I stuttered out. This morning has been such a rollercoaster for me. First Harry and his moodswings, then Oliver and his creepiness, and now Dani with her randomly showing up!

"...Liam? Are you listening to me?" Danielle asked, waving a hand in front of my face.

I blinked and nodded. I just realized I was thinking the whole time, not really paying attention.

"So what do you say?" she asked, smiling at me.

"About what?" I was so confused.

"About me staying here for a week with you guys as you rehearse. Then I can see your first show! And maybe I can even stay with you in tour room..." she trailed off, kissing me.

I quickly pulled away and smiled faintly, not really sure what to say.She wanted to stay here with us as we rehearsed? And she wanted to see the first show? I thought she was mad at me...

"I just thought that we could fix things after what happened when you left. You were acting so off and I want to fix that. You didn't even say 'bye' to me when you left," Danielle said, frowning slightly at my shocked expression at everything she said so far. But can you blame me? I mean we just got here yesterday and she just showed up this morning? I still couldn't properly process everything.

Just as I was about to answer, we both heard laughter and footsteps coming this way. I pulled away from Danielle and stood a bit away from her. She frowned at me, but I quickly looked away from her to look at the boys coming.

As soon as they saw us, their laughter died down slowly. Then they all blinked in confusion and shock at who they saw beside me. I don't blame them. I had the exact same reaction - just more shock than confusion.

"Hey guys!" Danielle said beside me, waving at them.

They still stared with their mouth hanging open, except Harry. Harry stopped laughing as soon as he saw her and just glared at her.

Niall was the first to come to his senses and greeted Danielle. "Hey Danielle...How'd you get here?" he asked her.

She smiled gratefully and walked to wrap her arm around mine. "I took a flight here last night to see Liam!...and you boys as well..." she replied happily, adding the last part.

Louis and Zayn shook their heads and greeted her. "That's...great!" Louis said after her greeted her.

"So...How long are you staying?" asked Zayn, kinda awkwardly after greeting her. Again, I don't blame them...We were just standing outside out rooms...with Danielle tagging along now...

"A week, I guess...I want to be here for Liam and maybe watch you guys rehearse as well. Then I can watch your first show!" Danielle answered happily, pulling on my arm some more.

"And where do you think you're staying?" Harry asked rudely, being the only one not to greet her, or even stand near her.

"I was hoping with Liam...Because there are 5 of you and 3 rooms. So I just thought maybe I could stay with Lia- " she said, but Harry cut her off.
