Just like a flower

"Jada Get up right NOW!" My Mom yells.

" What!?!" I scream, in a respectful way though.

"Girl don't have me come up there!" She screams.

I sigh in defeat then wipe my sleepy eyes. I slowly get up and zombie walk to my closet. I look around for my uniform, yes uniform I go to school a that has uniforms I didn't even know they existed until I was enrolled at Brinshocks preparatory school. I am a junior there and soon to be senior in a few more months. I was half way through putting on my shirt when it hits me! It's Fucking Saturday I don't have school!

I angrily march downstairs and yell to my mom "Hey what's going on I don't have......." I stop once I see a guy staring at me. He looks down then up to my mom like she could do anything about this (i.e. ME). My mom nods then turns to me and says "Jada please go up stairs and change" she said it like she's some nice person.

"Ok" I say with a fake smile.

I walk past the guy and he looks down like he's embarrassed, like what the heck, did he have to get up in his pajamas and go down stairs to see a stranger in his house? No. I look at him for a few more seconds, he is dressed in a light blue button down shirt and black skinny jeans. His hair was spiked up and the ends were blonde but his natural hair color looked brown. Now, I don't want to say he looked kind of like a girl but...... He did.

I run up stairs and change into some sweatpants and a basketball t-shirt, so, likes it's a typical Saturday. When I get down stairs I see the guy laughing with my mom but stop right once they see me, I suddenly lose all hopes of confidence. I make my way to the table where they are at and I sit myself down to get some breakfast, well I guess lunch because it was 2:36pm
"Jada. I would like for you to meet Christian" my mom says while smiling at him "He will be staying here for the time being." Time. Being! What the heck. Who says that! I almost choked when I heard that.

"Why?"I manage to say with a spoon full of Cheerios in my mouth.

"Because his parents are out on some private business they need to attend and I am great friends with his mother. In fact we......."
I zoned off by that point because it was some boring back story I knew would not enjoy.

"Um hello" the guy says.

"Hi I'm Jada" I state like he didn't already notice. My mom only called my name what? 3 times now.

My phone rings and I check it, my friend Beth texted me asking if I wanted to walk to the park or something. Thank God anything to get me out of this place.

"Hey mom can I walk to the park with Beth?" I ask in a sweetly

"Only if you bring Christian along with you" she says in a strict tone.

"Oh ma'am, there's no need for that I'm fine here" He insists.

"Well ok Jada you can go" I smile, walk towards her and give her a peck on the cheek.
I put on my Nikes and run out the door to walk to Beth's house, which is like three blocks away so no big fuss. When I arrived at her house she was at the door waiting for me.

"Bestie!" She screams with wide smile.

"Good friend of mine" I scream back with a smile.

"Hey!"she says with a serious voice.

"I'm just joking" I laugh.

We walk for a while until we stop upon a few baby rabbits. Beth instantly takes out her phone to snap a pic of them and post it on her snapchat.

"OMG, they're Adorable!" She says loudly
I roll my eyes and say, "You know, they're probably going to die now."

"Why would you such a thing?" She says with the saddest look ever.

"Because they're mom just left them and ran off not even caring about her children, she didn't even try to defend them."

Beth looks down at the rabbits with a sad look, "Well then we can protect them from predators and feed them daily, right?"

I shake my head sigh, "They probably don't even have their baby teeth yet."

"Well we can blend their food to make it mush!" She desperately finds a way to keep them.

"Look, even if we did the crows, hawks, and owls would get to them first tonight." I say.

Beth sighs in defeat and turns around to walk ahead.
We get to the park only to see it filled with little children playing and crying. I guess I should have saw that coming it is a Saturday after all. We keep walking not knowing where exactly to go.
We reach a gas station and we both decide to buy something to eat. When I turned my back from Beth, to grab some Doritos, I instantly hear "Beth!" In a low masculine voice. I turn around to see Beth hugging a guy and him hugging back. A few moments have past and they're still hugging. What? Who is this guy, and now I might be seen as the creepy girl just staring at them. I turn around acting like I didn't see them, until "Oh right, Jada this my boyfriend Jake." Beth says.
"Oh hi I'm Jada" I say and extend my hand to shake his. His Hand, that is. He extends his and I look down, his hand was really moist, TF ewwwwww that is disgusting I don't even know what that is! I'm quickly pull back my hand after one gross shake. The boy had on a redshirt and white pants he was black and had hazel eyes.

"Well, we should get going" I tell Beth but she waves me off like I didn't say anything. She seems to be busy with this guy I might as well leave before I become a third wheel.

I pay for my chips and wave goodbye to Beth and Jake. I walk out and realize I have no idea where I am at. I walk to the direction that I think I came from. I look at my phone and it's at 10% Great just what I need. I sigh and walk on.

I began to freak out because it's becoming dark and I'm still walking. I turn to a dark alley, and give up and call my parents. Right once I reach out my phone a cat come out of nowhere and scares the Hell out of me. I drop my phone and look at that cat and curse under my breath.

The was cat strange looking, it had fur that was reddish orange and eyes that were light blue, glowing and staring right at me.

"Ugh!" I pick up my phone and it's broken, My moms going to Be PISSED.

"Just like your mom said you will bloom just like a Flower...."
