EDDIE'S POV-

"JAMIE!!!!!!" I yell, scrambling over to his limp body. I put my arm underneath his head and prop it up so he can look me in the eye.

"Don't die on me, okay? Stay with me! I can't lose you," I repeat, over and over again, crying and stroking Jamie's face.

I look up when I hear two pairs of footsteps pound up the steps. Instinctively, I put my hand on my gun, but I pull it away when two police officers come barging in.

"Is everyone okay?" the woman, named Heath, shouts.

I shake my head no and wipe away my tears. 

"Call a bus!" I yell.

Officer Hamilton, the other cop, nods and does as he's told. 

Officer Nicole (Nikki) Heath helps me put pressure on Jamie's wound, while Officer Matthew Hamilton checks for a pulse on the bad guy. 

Hamilton shakes his head. He's dead.
