Dust

I died too young
No years to learn, laugh and love
It didn't hurt
I felt no pain

Hollow bones and no food
Silence fell as night came
As the cold took life away
Making us transparent

Mother was cold
She no longer moved
Nowhere to go
No strength to leave
No one here to help

It was so quiet
As the world had closed its ears
And moved on
We fell back into the dust
Spread across the world

Authors note

Thanks for reading yet another poem of mine and I'm sorry to say only the poem is mine all the words in the poem are from the very moving book called Dust, which should read because it will make you cry. Anyway yeah if anyone wants me to write a poem about anything in particular just comment and I'll try my best.

Thanks a lot again

Shawna
