Journey unto Darkness

<<<Five years before the birth of Jagg and Sel>>>

            The demon Lord Dek sits atop an obsidian cliff with his trusty Soul Blade "Soul Fang" across his lap. He is tall and slender but well built; he is tall even when sitting. His armor was crafted to be light and stealthy; his hair is silver and long. He waits for the report on the raid of Australia from the acting mortal world commander.

"The time has come," said Dek in a low voice as he stands and straps Soul Fang to his side "to finish this raid on Australia."

Soon after he straps his blade to himself his Lieutenant appears then stands beside Dek and says in a low voice.

"Lord Dek! A pair of humans has found your private portal, shall we destroy them?"

"No Lieutenant, I would like to meet these gifted humans, who are they and of what stature?"

"I don't know who sir, and both are well..."

"Spit it out Lieutenant."

"But this is not fit for being said around the lesser demons."

"Then talk soft in my ear."

"They are both female sir."

"Interesting, bring them here, they will dine with me. Bring suitable food for them and set the table in my private dining hall."

"Shall I send for a waiter as well?"

"No, I will serve them personally."

"Of course sir, I will make my leave at once."

"Then make haste and fetch them so they don't wander and run into any savages. Now go!"

"I'll be right back, and soon sir."

Then in a wisp of black smoke he was gone.

"I wonder who these people are and how they managed to find us."

"General the Australian capital is ours, what shall your orders be?"

"Very good Colonel," said Dek "hold their political leader in his own home and place our best guards there, he will stand at the gallows for his crimes against us."

"Of course it will be done right away sir."

"Then be gone I have pressing matters to attend."

"Then I'm as good as gone general."

Again in a wisp of black smoke he too was gone.

<<<Meanwhile inside the demon realm portal gate>>>

            Axile and her friend Aya have just come through and began to wander about the obsidian wasteland.  After a while of wandering about and gawking at the beautiful obsidian landscape with the sapphire crystals that looked a lot like plants, the occasional emerald colored waterfall and even a ruby volcano in the distance,Aya asks Axile a question she'd been wondering herself.

"Axile we aren't lost are we?" says Aya.

"Of course not Aya, the reason we're wandering is because we're waiting for a servant." said Axile.

"A servant? Who's servant Axile?"

"The demon Lord Dek's servant." Says Axile coolly.

"Dek the demon who's leading the assault on our homeland!?!?!" says Aya with a startle.

"Precisely," Axile said with a tinge of sadness in her voice, "I plan to give myself as an offering, it's because I know that he was once human. Furthermore like any human he is in need of a companion someone like me."
