Alternative things to do instead of self harm.
•draw designs were you want to cut or burn
•snap a rubber band against your wrist
•Draw
•listen to music
•put band aids where you want to hurt yourself
•write in a journal
•talk to a friend about what your feeling, or talk to me about it if you have a problem please comment you want to talk and I'll give you my kik
•Go biking
•hike in the woods
•play a board game
•watch funny you tube videos
•instead of punishing yourself with self harming punish your self with a tough work out or no deserts for a week or something like that to help instead of hurt you
•sing your heart out in the shower
•scream as loudly as you can into a pillow
•break pencils
•punch a pillow or punching bag
•Eat something healthy like fruit yogurt and honey
•eat something that makes you feel happy and don't throw it up you deserve it
•Try something new
•Congratulate yourself on making it this far without self harming or ending your life
•take deep breaths
•meditate
•blow bubbles
•take a nap
•Do some cool face paint or makeup on your face. (Yes even if you're a guy)
•exercise
•Do school work
•start a project
•Paint a picture
•Go swimming
•Enjoy yourself
Just please try to do some of these things. I know it's hard to even get up the motivation to do anything when you have depression but please at least try. Even if it's just a little bit at a time. Remember there are people here for you. I'm here for you.
