"Oh shut up already!" I said as I brought my hand down on my alarm clock. then out of nowhere my body was covered in pain there was also a loud "THUMP". At that moment I realized that I fell off my couch, and yes i slept on the bed. All of the blinds were shut because I don't like people seeing my face, so it's really dark in my house. I go to the light switch and turn it on, and with that I run into my walk in closet to find some clothes from inside one of the very many boxes in my closet. I eventually found a really cute outfit for my first day at Phoenix drop high, it's already been half a school year. I wore a purple T-shirt with a rose design, ripped jeans and high boots. Then I put on the necklace my brother gave to me before he died. (Picture above without the jacket) afterthatIwent down stairs to put on my cloak, I decided to skip breakfast today. By this time it was only 7:00 and school starts at 8:00, so I decided to put on some makeup just some simple eye liner even, though nobody would see it after I put my mask on, and strawberry lipstick, after I was done. I pack my lunch money, tablet, books, phone, headphones, gym clothes , an extra pair of clothes and anything else I would need. I put the hood of my cloak up and I put on my lilac mask. I grabbed my keys from the counter, and with that I headed outside locking the door behind me.
Just as I was about to put in my headphones I saw a girl about my age, with fire orange hair trip over the curb, because she was to busy on her phone. I didn't want to see her hurt so I ran full speed at her, just as she was about hit the floor I grabbed her wrist. I pulled her back onto her two feet, her eyes were closed like she was expecting an impact. So I decided to try and avoid a conversation with her by run way ahead so it look like some one else saved her.
Garroth's POV
I was heading off to school when Aphmau walked outside her house, she was about to put in some earplugs when she started running, I looked in the direction she ran to see Cadenza tripping on the curb, I started to jog to were Cadenza was, Cadenza was about to hit the ground when Aphmau grabbed her wrist and pulled her back on her feet. Cadenza's eyes were still closed, I think Aphmau either didn't want to talk with Cadenza or she saw something. By the time I made it to Cadenza side Aphmau was out of sight, then Cadenza opened her eye and looked at me "THANK YOU... for catching me Garroth." She thanked " b-but I didn't~~" I didn't even get to finish my sentence when she kissed me, and ran off.

Cadenza's POV
I was on my phone updating my school gossip blog, about the supposed new girls ( what do I mean by that well... Find out next time on ... This book.. I didn't forget the name ~sarcasm noted~)in the school when I tripped over the curb. I close my eyes not wanting to see the ground come closer, I just waited for the impact to come, but it never came after about a minute of keeping my eyes shut I decided to open them. The first thing I saw was that I was facing forwards not at the ground, the second thing was Garroth just standing there "THANK YOU... for catching me Garroth" The words just spilled out of me. I didn't even give him a chance to say anything when I kissed him on the cheek. I was so embarrassed I took off run, leaving Garroth in confusion holding the place I kissed him. My brother is going to kill me for kissing his best friends cheek.
