Knocks on the Door

Y/N POV
 
  We were unpacking all my bags and taking stuff out of boxes. I only had two boxes, one backpack, and a small duffel bag. I didn't have much because, yeah.
  
"If you follow me, I'll show you around." Katelyn told me.
 
  I nodded my head and followed her.
 
I followed her to a room with dark blue carpet and a cyan colored wall. I saw posters and surprisingly, there was a 1D poster above the bed. It was signed too!

   "Is this your poster, Katelyn?" I said whilst snickering.
 
  "No! I'm holding that for a friend!" She yelled.
 
  "MmHm, suuuuuuuuuure. I totally believe you." My voice was high with sarcasm.
 
  "Y/N I swear if you tell anyone, I will kill you." She told me. "Also, I could hear that sarcasm."

   I winked at her. "Well duh der! It's not THAT hard!"

   "Anyways, this is my room. Now, let me continue the tour."
  
  I followed her to the bathroom, then the basement, then the kitchen, then the living room, then the Attic, then, she brought me upstairs to a huge room.

   It had a lilac colored carpet spread out all around the room, F/C walls, and a darker F/C bed in the corner. It had a nightstand next to the bed, and the rest was pretty empty. There was even a walk-in closet and it's own bathroom.
  
  "This would be your room Y/N."

   "I..... I can't.... This is your house-"

   "I know, but I feel really bad. Like I said, it was my fault that you didn't live with us."

   "But you're the one who went through Foster Care, plus you worked hard for this money."

   "You work hard or your money too, Y/N."

   "I WORKED AT McDONALD'S! THAT'S NOT CONSIDERED WORKING HARD!"

   "Yes it is and stop yelling!"

   "Not in my book." I said while stomping into the backyard.
 
  I sat on the pretty bench and just stayed there.

   Katelyn hadn't come out yet, but she knows better than to. Whenever I get angry, I can get a little hostile.
 
  While sitting on the bench, my mind flashed back to when I was a kid. Me and Katelyn were playing Guards and we both wanted to be the head guard.
           
                        ~Flashback~

   "Why should you get to be Head Guard Katelyn?"
  
  "Because."

  "Because why?!"

   "Because you need to.... Like school in order to be Head Guard."

   "But school is boooooooring."

   "No, today, I just learned the Pledge of Allegiance."

   "So?"
 
  "Ok, new rule. You have to know the Pledge of Allegiance in order to be Head Guard."

   "Fine. Who first?"

   "You go first."
 

  "But I don't want to."

   "Too bad."
