Getting Hangry

Y/N POV

  "Ugh! Could the pizza guy take any longer?" Katelyn said.

  "Calm down Katelyn. It's been 15 minutes." I told her.

  "Yeah, but it feels like 15 YEARS!" Katelyn shouted. (Get my reference? No? Ok...)

  "You're just overreacting Katelyn. The pizza should be here soon." I assured her.

~Ring a ring a ding a ding a dong~

  "See, they're here." I told her rushing to the door. When Katelyn was hungry, she was not just hungry. She was just simply hangry.

  I opened up the door to see a guy with pink hair, a pizza guy outfit, and get this, pink skin?!

  Katelyn rushed to the door as well and looked at him then at me.

  "Um.... If you don't mind me asking, why are you pink?" I said.

  "Oh my Irene Y/N, you can't just ask people why they're pink!" Katelyn whisper shouted to me.

  "Well, you see, I don't come from here. I actually come from a candy dimension. I'm a candy person." The pink guy said.

  "Oh, well sorry. Anyways, I'm Y/N. What's your name?" I told him.

  "Ah, my name is Reece. Um, is this your pizza? Sorry for taking so long." He said.

  "As long as it has hot wings, then yeah, that's ours!" Katelyn said while grabbing the boxes out of his hands.
She rushed to the dinner table and started to dig in.

  "Sorry 'bout that. My sister gets a little crazy when she's hungry. Anyways, here is the money. Oh, and keep the change." I said handing him a twenty dollar bill.

  "Ok, thanks. You are oh so very kind. Well, got to go deliver more pizzas. Bye!" He said walking towards his car.

  I walked over to the table to see one of the boxes of pizza done. Katelyn had just finished wiping her face and she looked up at me and smiled.

  "Heh, it's a good thing we bought two pizzas." Katelyn laughed.

  "Yeah, cause I'm quite hungry as well." I told her.

  "Oh, yeah. Uh, I totally meant that the other box was for you, uh, yeah." She nervously laughed, then giggled.

  We both got done eating and went up to our rooms. It was bed time.

  Tomorrow, we would go out to see all the neighbors and introduce myself.

  It'll be just a day for me and Katelyn to enjoy ourselves and say hi to new faces. Well, for me at least.

  I got into my room and jumped on the bed. I got comfy and realized the lights were still on. I got up and turned them off, then jumped onto the bed again.

  I got comfy again and turned on the lamp in my nightstand. I grabbed my favorite book Romeo and Juliet and read on. That was, until I fell asleep.
That night, was the worst one ever.

~Dream~

  "Aphmau! Get the bags, we're leaving!" I hear a familiar voice yell.

  "Yes Katelyn." Aphmau says tiredly.

  I then woke up. "What's going on?" I ask as I rub my tired eyes.

  "We're leaving." Katelyn said bluntly.

  "But..I just got here.." I said confused.

  "Oh no, you're staying. We're leaving." She says.

  "Y-you're just gonna l-leave me here? Alone?!" I stuttered.

  "Yup." She heard a thud. "Hurry up Aphmau!" She yells and stomps up the stairs.

  "T-this can't be h-happening.." I say and begin to cry.

  Nicole them walked in and I hugged her.

  "First off, I have no idea who you are." She said and shoved me off of her. "And second off, woman up!" She said and walked past me.

  "Oh, it's you. Didn't expect to see you here. Just get out of my way and we won't have a problem." Dante said stubbornly and then walked over to Nicole.

  "W-what's going on?" I ask again.

  "We're all moving away. Well, all but you." Nicole says as Katelyn and Aphmau run down the stairs.

  "We're all packed, let's go." Katelyn says.

  "You guys can't seriously be leaving me...." I say and cry even more.

  "Well we are. Suck it up!" Nicole said as they all walked out.

  My knees fell out from under me and I collapsed to the floor, crying.

  "Y/N? Y/N WAKE UP!" I heard someone shouting in the distance.

~End of Dream~

  I woke up in a cold sweat and tears and looked above me to see Katelyn looking down at me.

  "H-huh?" I stammered.

  "You were crying in your sleep and I needed to wake you up. You know what happens when you get super emotional." Katelyn explained to me.

  I touched my face to feel tears were streaming down my cheeks. I quickly rubbed them away and pushed Katelyn away.

  "I'm fine." I declared.

  "Ok, whatever you say. Try to get some rest?" Katelyn said.

  "Yeah whatever." I muttered.

  I fell back asleep, but this time, no bad dreams woke me up.
