Friend From the Past

The person from the car came running towards us. I expected it was Katelyn, but as she got closer, I realized who it actually was.

  "NICOLE!" I yelled getting up and running towards her. I hugged her and we stepped apart.

  "I thought you were in Scaleswind?" I asked.

  "Yeah, but since you moved, I figured I should take a little vacation. My dad is watching over Scaleswind and Dmitri. I go back in a month though." She explained to me.

  "Cool!" I exclaimed.

  "Hello? Forgetting someone?" Travis whined.

  "Y/N, I didn't know you had a bOyFrIeNd!" Nicole teased me.

  I slightly punched her in the arm and Travis came and put his arm around me.

  "Yup, that would be me. Her boyfriend." Travis said.

  I blushed a little and threw his arm off me.

  "Actually, I am pretty sure I lost a bet and I was forced to go on this date with you." I told him.

  Travis looked off into the sky. "That's not how I remember it." He said.

  "Ok, well, still. I can't believe I found you Y/N!" Nicole said and then giving me another hug.

  "Well, I should probably get going. Sorry if I interrupted something between you two." Nicole said. She winked at me and walked away.

  "So, how do you know that girl?" Travis nosily asked.

  "Oh, before I moved here, I lived in Scaleswind with Nicole." I explained.

  "Yeah. Why did you live in Scaleswind if you don't mind me asking." He asked.

  "Um....that's...a story for another time." I told him.

  He shrugged and held my hand.

  "Ok. Let's sit back down." He told me.

  I nodded and we sat down on the blanket.

  We looked back at the sky and he continued telling me about it. I was so fascinated about the solar system. I wish I payed better attention in science.

  After our date was over, he drove me home. I entered through the front door and heard snoring. Katelyn was sleeping, just as expected.

  I went into my room and set my cell phone on my dresser. I changed into my pajamas and hopped into bed.

And then, I went to sleep. Thinking about, well, him.

~sleep~

  I look around to see everything in my room was gone. I was in a black box and the only thing I had was my phone.

  I grabbed it and saw I had a text. From a mysterious number.

Y= You

#- Don't worry, you are just being transported somewhere else and this is where you will stay till it's done.

Y- Who are you???

#- That is for me to know and you to find out.

Y- But I need to know. And what is being done exactly?

#- You ask too many questions.

Y- Yeah, and I want them answered.

#- I suggest you stop being so greedy. You wouldn't want anything to happen to you older sister Katelyn, would you?

Y- W-what?!

#- Heh heh heh...look to your right.

  I put down my phone and look to my right. A small window appeared. I looked through it and I saw Katelyn tied to a chair, struggling to get out.

  "Y/N, it's fine. I'm fine. Don't...worry about me." Katelyn told me still struggling.

#- It's really not fine. Do you wish to free her?

  I look back at Katelyn. She shook her head no and I grabbed my phone again.

Y- What do I have to do?

#- Move back to Scaleswind where you belong. And don't bring your phone and DON'T tell anyone about it.

Y- B-but I just got here...

#- You never belonged here. Everyone liked it better when you weren't here.

Y- T-that's not true!

#- Ask Katelyn then.

  I look over to Katelyn and she sighed.

  "Y-Y/N.... I...." Katelyn looked at her feet.

  Then, I sighed and started falling.      

  And falling...

  And falling....

  And falling....

  And falling....

  And then I hit the ground hard.

~End of Dream~

  I woke up and sat straight up.

  I look around to see everything in my room back to the way it was. I looked to my left and saw my phone on the dresser.

  I grabbed it and looked for the messages I got from the mysterious number.

  They weren't there...

  It was a dream....thank goodness. I didn't want to leave. Although, what if things were better before I came? Huh.... I never thought about it....

  I got out of bed and went into the living room. I still heard snoring, so that meant Katelyn was still sleeping.

  I went into the kitchen and started cooking French Toast. When I was about to finish, somebody entered the room.

  I turn around to see Katelyn rubbing her eyes and yawning.

  "Morning Sleeping Beauty." I told her.

  "Ha ha ha." She took a breath in through her nose. "Smells good. What's cooking?"

  "French Toast. Your favorite!" I told her handing her a plate of French Toast.

  "Thanks Y/N. You're the best." Katelyn told me. She didn't seem herself though. She seemed different...

  "Katelyn?" I asked.

  "Yeah sis?" She asked after swallowing her food and wiping her face. NOT like her at all. I looked around and saw a baseball bat on the counter.

  I grabbed it and went towards 'Katelyn'.

  "Woah, sis, what are you doing?" She asked me.

  "You're not Katelyn. Who are you? What did you do with her?" I asked her, pointing the bat to her face.

  "Sis, you're the one acting strange." She slightly laughed and moved the bat away from her face.

  "First off, you finished swallowing and wiped your mouth before you spoke to me. Second off, Katelyn never calls me just 'sis.' She calls me lil' sis." I said furiously.

  She looked confused, then let a mischievous smirk spread across her lips.

  "Wow. You're not as dumb as I thought. Guess this means Ima have to deal with you the second way. Didn't want to, but that's what happens when you're that smart." She told me.

  I was confused and then she grabbed a knife and stabbed me in the arm. I looked horrifically at my arm and then got nauseas. And then blacked out.
