RECAP

She felt bad for worrying her dad but she didn't know anyway to make it better. She always came to the store after school.

He walked over to her and she could have sworn she saw a surprised look on his face when he saw Tommy standing right next to her.

 "Hi Tommy."

 "Hi Mr. Huggins."

Her dad dropped the keys that were in his hand and bent over to pick them up. When he straightened up, he was holding a piece of paper as well.

His eyebrows were raised in a questioning manner as he read out load, "Fall in a pit of lava and die. Go back to start?"

Chapter Six

"Aida, hunny time to wake up" me dad shouted from downstairs.

I sighed rolling over to the next of the bed, looking at time,-- shit--, I'm going to be late if i don't get ready now. Last night was horrible, after we closed up the shop and said goodbye to Tommy, it was a terrible ride home, by the time i came home I was drenched in rain, which, might of just given me a bad cold.

Well doesn't this sucks I thought to myself, as I went in my closet getting my clothes.I picked out my gray knit sweater my dad bought for me for Christmas that had a little lighting bolt at the center with a round neckline, with a gray glittery short shorts.

I hurried grab my bag-pack, and hurried downstairs, I took a pop tart from the cupboard and munched on it, kissing my dad's cheek as I walked out the front door. By the time I got to my car the pop tart was finish.

I rev-ed the engine and made my way to school, making it in time only by a minute. As I came out my car, I noticed everyone almost every single person in the hallway was staring at me,- what's up with everyone I thought. I started to feel self conscious so I hurriedly made my way to my locker, not liking the way the guys were looking at me,-no wait not looking lusting, It's a look I'm to familiar with, and I hate it.

Walking to my locker, I kept my head down, too tired to look up. Finally, when I was just a couple feet away, I glanced up. Fear stopped me dead in my tracks. A cold sweat broke out over my skin and a painful knot formed in my stomach.

I couldn't breathe, couldn't blink, and sure the heck  couldn't believe who stood in front of me. He looked like the fallen angel Lucifer. Magnificent in all his beauty but horrible and cruel. The cold gleam in his eyes made an icy hand grab hold of my heart and squeezed it painfully. This had to be some kind of sick dream. He can't be here. He just can't. Can he?

He grinned. That asshole grinned. I had never been the type of person to think vile things about another human being, but he was the exception.

"Hey babe. It's been a while since I've seen that pretty face of yours." He advanced towards me, like a lion stalking its prey. Desperately, I took a step back, trying to get as much space between them as was possible.

"Don't step away from me," he growled threateningly. Taking another step forward, adrenaline filled through my veins, making my whole body shake.

Frantically, I looked around to see if anybody else was witnessing this. The hallways were completely empty and I sarcastically pictured tumbleweed rolling along beside them. How could I joke, even if it was just inside my head, was beyond me. The bell must have rung and I was still in my traumatized state, but that didn't change one fact.

I was scared for my life.

"I like what you're wearing today by the way" he said getting hold of my hand, grinning. I glared at him trying to pull my hand away, only for him to hold it tighter.
