Trapped In the Unknown

I’m trapped in a place of an empty soul,

Midnight black, lack of color, changing to white in a snap.

Deafening silence pierces your ears, leaves you begging for mercy.

Like the stillness of the night it lays, though you’ll never see dawn.

Blank same old places, same blank old faces. Play, Pause, Repeat.

Darkness wraps you in a deadly hug with its arms of titanium.

Borderline manic, molding my mind, making me lose myself.

Escape, escape your own skin. Escape, escape your own mind.

I’m trapped in a place which the next move is unknown.

Here, in my mind, I’m all alone.
