"Where are we going?" I asked
"Out." He said "Hurry up and get ready."
I grabbed my shirt off of the floor and slid it on in one swift move. Then grabbed my bleached Toms. Then I went in the bathroom to rinse my face. "I'm ready."
"Great!" He said. "Let's go."
Before I knew it he was grabbing my hand and walking to the front door. We walked across the nicely mowed lawn to the back of the driveway. There was a two door jeep with a mirrored silver paint job.
"Hop in."
"Where the hell are we going?" I asked. It was probably the fifth time I've asked since we've started driving.
"You'll see." He said. With a big smile and a look of excitement in his eyes.
"Tell me."
"Nope."
"Please." I said with my best puppy dog face. He looked over and laughed.
"I must admit you are really cute. But the answers still no."
After begging him to tell me for another couple of minutes I finally gave up. "Whatever." I said annoyed and plugged in my earphones.
He let out a small grin and kept driving.
"We're here!" He said as he shook my shoulder.
I slowly opened my eyes to see a big blue sign that said Wrentham Outlets. "We're going shopping?" I said.
"Yep." He said. "You need some clothes for school right?"
I started to remember how I was kicked out of my home and that I didn't have anything to wear anymore. "Oh yah." I said in a flat tone.
"Come on." He said then grabbed my hand.
I always loved Wrentham Outlets. It's not like the other Malls. This one was outdoors, and had all of my favorite stores. Ralph Lauren, American Eagle, Nike, and lots of others.
We went to the Ralph Lauren store. It seemed like we were shopping and trying everything on in the store. Everything seemed to look good on Ryan but I usually stick to the more outgoing styles. I picked out a pink shirt with a green polo horse and some soft green cargo shorts. Ryan got a plaid button down shirt.
"Are you done shopping?" Ryan said.
"Yah." I said, then we walked over to the cash register.
"That will be $49.95." The man said as he gave me a warm smile. He was pretty good looking. He had dark brown hair and greenish-bluish eyes, tan skin and little freckles on his cheeks. He seemed to be around 20.
