Adrien beckoned to Marinette.
She turned to him. "I think that we should-"
"Run? Yes! Let's go!"
The two silently crept away to the library. Adrien grabbed Marinette's hand.
Chloe came out of the restroom. "ADRIKINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Adrien tightened his grip on Marinette. "I'll deal with this. Leave it to me." he whispered, comfortingly, as Marinette tried to pull away.
"ADRIKINS!!! What are you doing holding hands with, you know, HER????"
"Marinette has a right to be with me. She's my girlfriend!"
"Adrikins! Ditch her straight away! Did she brainwash you, my sweet?"
"Enough with the nicknames, Chloe! You're just being stupid! Anyway, what did Marinette do to you? You are just bullying her, for no reason!" With that, Adrien pulled Marinette inside the library.
Chloe stood, dumbfounded. 'Why did my Adrikins do that?' she thought, anger swelling up through her body.
Unfortunately, she didn't see the blackish purple butterfly the was making its way towards her.
