As soon as Jamie takes me to the spare room downstairs, I heard them. The whispers are surprisingly loud.
"You've had some Romans in here... Not actual ones though!" I say looking down to the young child, and giving him my best smile. There was a light from behind the door, a dull blue light that I have seen before.
I step closer to the door, an electric feeling in the air. The familiar electric feeling, and light triggered a memory I so desperately wanted to keep away.
"Professor! Where are you?!" The alarm in her voice scared me.
"Jade?!" I look around the electric feeling maze with a strong determination to find my friend. "Don't worry! I will find you!" I run quickly through the maze. I hear an eerie yelp of pain from around the corner, my hearts race as I sprint to find the source of the noise.
What I see around that corner made my hearts stop. My companion- my best friend- lying there.. dead.
"J-Jade...?" I kneel down at her side, and pick her up slightly and gently. A tear falls from my broken and sorrowful face onto her cold dead corpse. I hold her close, silently crying in rage and pain... blaming myself for her death, like it always was. "N-No... please d-don't be d-dead..." I hear my voice break as more sorrowful tears fall.
I glare coldly at the door as I say quietly, "Jamie, get back. I don't want you hurt." The frightened little buy went to go hide behind a chair to watch. Stepping towards the door, sonic in hand, I slowly turn the door nob and quickly stepped in. Once inside, I see the familiar swarm of blue luminous, and to the human eye, bats. I will assure you right now, they're far worse than Earth's bats.

I understand how extremely late this update is! I am deeply sorry about this... I've been extremely busy with many things, but I hope you all enjoy this update! Chapter four will be up next week! :D and that's a promise!!
