Jodi's POV

I rummaged through my backpack in search for my ID card. I left it somewhere in here. Pissed off, I threw my bag on the floor. Frustrated I dig my nails into my head. Pacing the room. I see my ID card on the shelf. What a dickhead. I laugh it off, grab the ID card, and my belongings before heading out the door.

I loaded up the truck, and I watched as Michael's minivan drove by. He was so cute, I had a major crush on him. But I stood no chance, I knew he liked Linda. Who basically got cheated on last week. So, she ain't gonna get with no one. She might as well go lesbian, so I have Michael all to myself. But that will never happen.

"Quit daydreaming and help me with this box, will ya?" Tim shouts.

I groan, why do I have to come? Like it's not like Michael's going to be there.

"Hey! I know this will be boring, but trust me, your father said you'd love it, I know you will. By the way, I invited a few friends" Tim says.

My father and Tim have been great friends since middle school. My dad suggested I came along. But I thought it was just me and Tim. I guess we need a few hands. Maybe Michael's coming, seeing he passed by.

"Who'd you invite?" I ask, out of curiosity.

"Your dad made the calls, guess you'll have to find out when you get there. By the way. I invited that Michael kid you're always blabbering about" Tim says, smirking.

I give him a girl punch, before laughing it off. I tell him everything, he's like a diary, that listens. He's a great guy, I can see why he and dad are great friends. We started loaded the boxes onto the truck, grab a few items, and toss them in.

With a few fiddles with the keys, the car bursts into life, and we were on our way.

Michael's POV

This guy on the phone, no idea how he got my number, rang me up and asked me to help out at Camp Crystal Lake. At first, I declined, he then mentioned Jodi was going. Everyone thinks I have it for Linda, yeah, we've been friends forever. I was her shoulder to cry on ever since her ex cheated on her. So what? The way I acted may have appeared I liked her, but I went with it, so no one suspected I liked Jodi. But, I don't know, I guess it kinda ruined my friendship with Linda a bit.

I was driving in my minivan down the road, eyeing the map to Camp Crystal Lake. I look in my rearview mirror, to see a truck, blaring loud music. It annoyed the crap out of me. I then soon realised who it was. My best mate David, his girlfriend Lisa, and another mate, Kevin. I just smiled, I kept on driving.

After ten minutes of driving, I passed a sign, Camp Crystal Lake was only a mile away. Shouldn't be long right? Haha. I couldn't wait.

I pulled into Camp Crystal Lake, viewing the overhead sign:

Camp Crystal Lake
Founded 1935

Old camp I see, wonder how much of a wreckage it is. I parked in, and I saw Donna and Linda jumping off the pier. I then heard the sound of rocks being crushed under tires. David, Lisa, and Kevin has pulled in. Quickly followed by Jodi, with a guy. Must've been the man on the phone, he seemed to have known Jodi.
