Some Alone Time

Sawyer was the last one I was hanging out with.

"How has today been going so far?" I asked hoping to make the silence go away.

"It was okay until you came here then it got better."

Was Sawyer Hartman flirting with me?

No, it can't be; he probably has his eye set on some other girl.

I looked down, depressed.I think he saw me cause he asked,"what's wrong? Are you feeling sick? Are you okay?"

I snapped back into reality.

"No I'm fine I just got a text before I got here saying that my friend's mom isn't doing so good." I lied.

Please don't question me on it.

"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to question you.Sorry."

"You already said that." I laughed.

"Yeah I guess I did, didn't I?"

"Well today is going well."

"Is Playlist what you thought it would be?"

"No." Sawyer looked worried then asked, "is that a good or bad thing?"

"Good, definitely good. It's so much more than I thought it would be."

"So did you meet anybody else today?"

"Yes I did actually. I met Poppy and the O2L guys."

"Oh so you already met pretty much everyone that I know except one person."

"Who?" I asked with excitement.

"My friend Landon."

"Landon? Landon Austin?"

"Yeah. How did you know?"

"I've watched your videos, remember?"

"Oh yeah. I forgot that I used one of his songs in my video."

We laughed for a bit when a strikingly handsome guy came up to us.

"You okay Sawyer? You look like you're about to pee yourself."

"I'm fine Landon. K.C. just said something that made me laugh."

"So this is the K.C. that you have been texting me about you all day?"

What? Sawyer was talking about me all day?

"What do you mean?" I asked Landon.

"What I mean is, Sawyer hasn't shut up about you."

Sawyer looked away blushing a lot.

Wait, blushing?!

Did Sawyer really like me the same way I like him?

Sawyer mumbled something that sounded along the lines of 'thanks Landon' and 'you jerk.'

"Just helping you out Sawyer."Landon said out loud.

"What do you mean?"

"Oh nothing. Anyway are you two going to the District Lines tonight?"

"Yeah I'm going tonight."Sawyer said.

"I don't know."

Landon and Sawyer looked at as if I was out of this world.

"What do you mean you don't know?"Sawyer asked.

"Well everything that has been going is all a giant birthday surprise from Shane, so I don't know what's all going on."I said telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

An idea popped into my head.

"Why don't I text Shane and ask him?"

"That's a brilliant idea."Landon said.

"Yeah text him and find out."Sawyer said, overjoyed.

'Hey Shane, am I going to the District Lines with you guys tonight?'

'Yeah. I didn't bring you here to just shut you up in a room.'

'Okay thanks.'

'Why did you want to know?'

'Sawyer and I ran into Landon and he asked us if we were going and I told them that I didn't know and we just wanted to get to the bottom of it.'

'Oh well it starts in about an hour so I need you to meet me at the room so I can give you the pass for it.'

'Okay see then love you.'

'Love you too.'

"Yup I'm going but I have to meet Shane at my room to get my pass so I'll see you guys later."

"Wait your gonna go all by yourself?"Sawyer asked.

"Yeah is there a problem with that?"

"No its just that it's pretty dangerous and maybe someone should walk you back to your room."

"Okay. Any volunteers?"I asked out loud.

"I'll take you."Sawyer said.

"Okay then let's get going, pretty boy."

"What?"

"Oh nothing.Come on." I said grabbing his hand.
