Star Wars rebels follow up : season 2

Chapter six

She looked sad. He knew why but let her finish wrapping the bandages around his wounded arms.

"Aaahh! Too tight!" Gasped Zeb.

Ashoka jumped as she had just been brought back from a daydream. She carefully undid the bandage and Zeb let his tension go.

Suddenly he felt water drop on his hand. Flinching he heard a small sob.

"Hey..." Zeb said sympathetically as he lifted Ahsoka's chin with his finger. She gazed into his loving eyes as water filled her own. "What happened...it wasn't you fault....and I will protect you from now on."

His voice was kind and soft. Zeb lifted her into a hug when the heard an ear piercing scream

"EZRAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!"

A lifeless body was slung across the control panel slits and burns covering his body. As a waterfall of blood oozed , dripping to the cold, metal floor. And if that wasn't scary enough the finale piece of the puzzle was a lightsaber driven right through him.

" Ezra ! Ezra no! " she cried. Sabine could feel her heart racing, her head hurt and she wanted to be sick. But she had to be strong.

Tears rolling down her face she made her way to him and brushed his hair out of his face.

"S...Sabine....." Ezra said letting out finale breaths.

Hera , Kanan , Zeb and Ahsoka came running in behind her.

"OH GOD WHO DID THIS TO YOU! " she screamed as Zeb pulled her back wards.

Kanan looked towards his padawan knowing that he had to remove the saber.

"On three " he said to himself as his calm mind became slightly more nervous.

She paced with tears drowning her face outside of the med bay. Zeb was with her but she ignored his presence.

Suddenly the door swooshed open but only chopper came through carrying bloody bandages.

Sabine slid down the wall grasping her hair at its roots. She really couldn't keep waiting. She loved Ezra.

"Sabine...." Zeb said looking at her. She nodded. " I ...err.... Well I heard Kanan and Hera talking earlier and....ehh... They think Ezra might have done that to himself....they think he tried to end it.

Sabine stood up as anger and pain consumed her body. "Ezra isn't unwell! He doesn't have mental health problems! I should know! " she screamed letting out tearless sobs.

The swoosh of the door caused them both to jump.

Sabine ran in. Ahsoka, Hera and Kanan stood around his bed not moving,not saying a word. Her heart beat was the only thing she could hear.

Stopping at the bed she scanned ezras body and then her friends faces. Everything still in slow motion.

She didn't believe what she saw. That was it. Tears welled up in her eyes.

" I love you Ezra" she cried burying her head in heras shoulder.
