Ezra was angry, angry that someone intruded in his family and hurt them. He was so angry that he could use the force to end Derek and all the suffering.
Distant screams of his family were thrown aside in his mind. They ran towards him and he flung them backwards. Sabine was so hurt both physically and in her heart as she looked at Ezra and around at her injured family.
Ezra stormed towards Derek as the winds and oceans seemed to follow and bow in his power. Clouds filled the sky and covered the moon leaving only the light of the ship to light the tragic scene.
The moonlight disappeared leaving Derek in a state of shock and disorientation. "Ezra he doesn't know what he did" whispered Mal as she watched her love drop to the ground.
Then something unexpected happened.
Kana emerged from the ship with Zebs staff. Having no clue how to use it he charged at Ezra and hit him over the back of the head with it. Just as lightening came from his hands striking the ground where Ezra now lay with Derek,Mal, Zeb, Hera and Sabine.
Kanan was the only one left standing. "Time to clean up" he said to himself.
