As I'm pulling into the parking lot of
our first spot on this date, I decide to clear my thoughts.
"You're not like the other cheerleaders"
"Gosh, I'd hope not"
"No,really, you're so much different, so much better. You're like a unicorn."
"Hahaha"
"I'm being serious, your weird, clumsy, awkward, forgetful, deep, an introverted extrovert, majestical, smart, cute,pretty, beautiful, gorgeous, you're extraordinary, and so much more. Why do you think everybody 'hates' you?!! It's because your something that their not, you everything that their not, and your everything they aspire to be. You're somebody everybody aspires to be. You, are somebody I aspire to be like. Because you've got it all, they want to find what you don't have, but they can't so, they make fun of what you do have."

"Well, your not like the other footballers.."

"Well, your not, I mean other footballers would've ran away from me, other footballers wouldn't have been able to say what you said, it took guts, and I dig that you had the guts to say it, you're the only guy I know, who doesn't seem afraid of me, in any way shape or form, you don't rely on boundaries, it's risky, but you pull it off, you don't care what people think, and that in itself I think is admirable. You have awesome music taste, you weird, and awkward. Your perfect."
"They run away because their scared that you'll reject them, because your so perfect, not because you're scary"

And I pull him in and kiss him, a short sweet kiss, but my first kiss nonetheless. I then jump out the truck, finding Dalton in a frazzled expression still in the same position I left him.
"Let's get going my dear dumb date, or we'll never make curfew"
