Gale POV

I was in the middle of taking a nice hot shower contemplating on the several ways I could steal Victoria away when I heard shouting. Before another drop of water could land on me I was in Treys room. He looked like he was having a asthma attack or something. Victoria ran in. "Do something!" She screamed, "Do what?" I replied "Trey calm down!" She screamed leaping on him. I helped her hold him down. "Tyler!" He roared fighting us off. His eyes were completely blacked out. "Tyler!" He roared over and over. He tossed Victoria off him. She flew into a mirror shattering it then falling into the broken pieces.

"Trey snap out of it man!" I tried to hold him in a lock but he easily shoved me off. His fangs erupted from his gums. He was going entirely primal. "Trey!" I yelled again he turned his head at me and stood up. Tears were rushing out of his eyes. He had snapped. He's gone to the other side. "Trey this isn't the time to turn it off. Alex needs you okay. She needs you more than ever tomorrow." His chest was heaving, but he didn't move so maybe that was a good sign. He took a step to me, or maybe not so much of a good sign. I immediately put my guard up. He snarled at me and rushed at me inhumanly fast and I held my arms up to block but did nothing to lessen the impact. I flew across the room into the wall I felt my back break as I slumped to the ground. I cringed in agony as my body worked to put the bone back in place.

Trey smirked and flashed forward to me. I closed my eyes unable to face what came next. But nothing happned, I opebed my eyes to see Victoria in front of me arms outstretched protecting me.

He was inches in front of her. He was shaking with rage from being denied his kill. "Stop!" She ordered "So help me Trey if you take one more step I will snap your neck." She stated he smirked and snatched her by the throat. "Trey don't do this!" I shouted trying to move. He only squeezed tighter she grabbed his neck. "Trey don't make me do this!" She begged, her hands dropped to her waist. "Trey please, don't hurt me." He raised his hand.

"If Alexandria could see you what would she think." She added staring him down. His black eyes remained for a moment before they began to flicker. He just released her and went up the stairs and into his room. Leaving us alone and confused.

"Something's wrong." Victoria groaned picking herself up from the floor. "Naw you think?" I complained she glared at me. Clearly my sarcasm is unappreciated. "He's never snapped. Not like that." "Is it because of Alex?" I asked she shook her head. "Even when she died the first time he never went that far off the deep end. Where's Tyler? We need Tyler." She asked I looked at her sternly "He's long gone."

"Do you think he's going to be okay?" "Would you be?" I replied starring at the door.

.....

We all sat there in a royal box to witness the trial. Nikolas was presented first, he didn't struggle, or fight. He looked as he always did, arrogant, and smiling like he knew something that we didn't. However we underestimated his resources once, but not again. Alex's parents personally guarded and over saw his trial. He was forced to kneel, then be shackled to the ground for good measure.

The council read Nikola's his reasons for arrest and conviction. He was of course found guilty on all charges. He was allowed to choose the way he was to be executed, they didn't want to appear to aggressive to the Lycan council.

"Gunfire." He stated loud and clear. I grinded my teeth, Trey was barely keeping his rage together. After all that Nikolas has done, a simple gun shot wasn't nearly enough in payment.

Alex's mother picked up the smallest pistol off the wall. She aimed it at him, and without warning fired several times into him. None of the spots were lethal enough to kill, just cause severe pain. He yelled out and struggled against the chains that burned into his wrist. "You bitch!" He snapped,

The council stood to say something but Alex's father gave them a dark look silencing them. Alex's mother fired everywhere but any crucial areas. Her face was empty but I could almost feel the despair that coiled within her. She wanted to prolong his death for her sake and others. After a few minutes of Nikolas cries the council demanded she get on with it. She grabbed a shotgun and walked up to Nikolas she pressed it against his temple. "You will have no comfort, no favors, in the next life, or the one after it, and so forth. We will be there every time, to rid you of this world. Dying will become the only pleasantries you will ever remember, the only thing you'll look forward to for it will mean break from our wrath and even though I cannot torture you in this world best believe I will in the next." She stated he looked at her in horror, "See you later Nikolas." She fired the shotgun, instantly killing him. He slumped to the floor head practically gone. Her husband walked to her and gave her shoulder a squeeze. They still wore a mask of no emotions.

"Alexandria R. Sydney, come forth." Trey stood up. I grabbed him. He glared at me, I shook my head. "If you try and stop this, you'll be immediately put to death." I reminded him grimly, She came out and was tied down to the post. "What the hell is this?" Trey blurted out, "The Lycan's demanded she'd be burned at the stake." His mother answered, he looked at us and then back at her.

Alex looked at her parents then to Trey. Her eyes filled with tears she didn't want to let go. "As part of the deal of overseeing the trial of Nikolas you have to oversee Alexandria's. Does this deal still stand?" One of the council members questioned,

They gave solemn nod. Their struggle to maintain distant was noticeable. They walked to the switch and held it. Unable to move it down. It was one of the hardest things I had to ever witness no parent, no child should ever undergo this. Trey gripped the banister so hard it snapped and cracked under the pressure. Victoria tried to pry his hands off but to no avail. She instead tried to soothe him by rubbing his back. I felt a pang of jealousy run threw me I hurriedly ignored it.

They pushed the switch down the sound rang out like thunderbolt. "Alexandria!" He cried, the entire metal wall along with the banister tore away as Trey flung himself from it."Trey!" Victoria screamed, we all tried to reach for him but he was too quick.

Trey Pov

Everything was happening so fast. The sound of the lever being pushed down, Alex's scream as the first flame touched her, and the hands that flung to grab me but weren't quick enough. I wrapped my arms around her protecting her the best I could from the flames. "No Trey, please!" She begged through our bond. I shook my head, "We either live together, or die together. I lived without you once, and I can't do that again. I need to be with you, regardless if its in this life of the next. I just need to be with you. We're sticking this out, no matter what happens. Till death does us apart, Alexandria." I replied calmly looking her in the eyes. "I love you." She said out loud our hands found one another's. I pressed my head to hers letting the flames take me first.

Suddenly the fire stopped all together. The Sydney's held their weapons at the council at gun point. My mother stood their by the switch, her breathing irregular. My skin began to heal and the pain slowly peeled. I looked at Alexandria who was burned a bit, but thankfully fine.

A man stood in the middle of the room. By the smell of him, he was a council from the Lycan's. "The debt has been paid, by Prince Tyler, there is no need for her life."
